Purpose of this course:To provide students with a logical framework and skill set that will lead to a successful competence in international business.

Will be provided to the student in the form of PowerPoint slides and lectures. All PowerPoint presentations will be available on the following website

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course students will be able to:

- understand the forces of globalization

- understand and analyze the importance of different cultures

- evaluate different modes of foreign market entry

- differentiate between methods of financing international business

- compare between political systems

- understand countries geographic orientations

Evaluation Outcomes:

Students will be four equally weighted exams. Class participation will also be an integral part of the student’s grade. Class is mandatory; students will be required to have read the assigned material before class.If students are not prepared, quizzes will be used in addition to class participation and exams. Quizzes will be given daily under this scenario. There will be no make up quizzes.
