On Wednesday, October 28, 2015, the Millbury Public Works Department will host the New England Chapter's 2015Fall Mechanics Workshop. This workshop will provide valuable information regarding the following:

Tri State Truck Center

  • SpeakersKevin Holmes, CEO; Rob Lynds, Director of Training; Chris Pentedemos, Service Director. Covering maintenance, repair issues and updating specifications on trucks.

  • Speaker Brian Boria and service personnel

Covering small engine new technology and maintenance issues.

Massachusetts DOT

  • Speaker Paul Brown, MADOT

Covering sander calibration procedures and adjustments

As in our past Mechanics Workshops, your staff will receive training that will assist you in improving your fleet operations and equipment repair.

We hope you can take this opportunity to meet the training needs of your employees at a reasonable cost to your community. The agenda for the program is provided below. The facility requires that registration be limited to 100 people, on a first come, first served basis, so please register early. Late requests will be placed on a waiting list.

7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. – Registration, coffee & pastries

8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. – Program, Lunch and Break

Registration Fee: $65.00 per person includes registration, coffee break and lunch.

Registration deadline is October 23, 2015, but may fill up before then. Please, no more than three (3) persons per agency, and register using the attached registration form.

Anyone with a special requst should notify Tom Collins ahead of time at.

Due to the limited seating at this facility, advance registration is required, and will be limited to the first 100 registrants. Please no more than three (3) people per agency. Registration deadline is October 23, 2015, and all reservations not cancelled before October 23rd MUST BE PAID FOR. Cancellations after the meeting registration deadline will not be refunded due to the Chapter’s financial commitment.
