Dear parents

Greetings from Lakshya team!

This is to bring to your kind notice that the date of departure for Kolkata – Orissa trip is preponed to 23rd September (Saturday), 2017.

The date of return from Kolkata remains the same i.e. 1st October, 2017.

PICK UP & DROP:

  • 23rd September : The school bus will pick up all students / teachers from specific points (Mentioned in general instructions)
  • 1stOctober :School bus will pick up all students from the Airport (Visakhapatnam) at 09:00P.M.

(Snacks & Dinner will be served on the way) and transfer to Kakinada by 1:00 A.M.

The students will be accompanied by Ms. Hemalatha (Asst, Coordinator, CBSE Wing) Ph. No:9849778476 Ms. G. Sucharita (Facilitator) Ph. No:9948951697

Please contact the teachers once in a day (preferably in the evening) to speak to your wards during the trip.

MOBILES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN THE TRIP

Kindly Note:

1)Please adhere to the bus timings (for pick up & drop) as mentioned in general instructions.

2)Please do the packing as per the mentioned list.

3)Students should be completely responsible for their own items (teachers will be guiding them offcourse)

  1. All the students should board the bus from the following bus stop only. Do not carry a heavy luggage.

a)Aditya Academy, Srinagar – 02:50 A.M.

b)Spencers – 03:00 A.M.

c)Sarpavaram – 03:05 A.M.

  1. Students should carry school ID card (Mandatory) during travel.
  2. SCHOOL WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OF DAMAGE OF ANY EXPENSIVE ITEM.
  3. Please adhere to all the rules and regulations mentioned in this document.
  4. Participants are supposed to maintain utmost discipline as they will be travelling in a public transport (Flight & Train) where there will be many other passengers. Participants should be at the best of their behavior during the trip at any point of time.
  5. Participants are strictly not allowed to venture out any where on their own without the permission of the accompanying teachers. (Participants should not interact much with UNKNOWN PEOPLE specially in flight or train or during sightseeing)
  6. Participants should avoid buying outside food (either in flight / train or during the course of the journey without permission of the accompanying teachers). Sufficient and quality food will be supplied to the students

throughout the trip and thus it is always advisable NOT TO BUY any outside food.

  1. A maximum amount of Rs. 2000 to Rs. 3000 can be carried (with prior) intimation to teachers) during the trip for buying any special gift / memento for parent or cousins from Kolkata / Orissa (The amount has to be kept with the student and it should be carried at the sole risk of the student as they should learn to handle their own things)
  2. Please label all major items carried during the trip (Bag / Shoes / MP3 Players etc)
  3. Mobiles (if found, will be confiscated and not to be returned thereafter)
  1. 4 – 5 pants (ideally jeans / cotton trousers) & 7 – 8 shirts
  2. Regular wear (inclusive of tracks /t-Shirts) – during stay in hotel. (Inclusive of night dresses)
  3. Sufficient under garments for nine days.
  4. Plastic bag for dirty and used clothes
  5. 1 pair of Sneakers & floaters (Slippers)
  6. 1 torch with extra batteries
  7. 2 pairs of shorts for boys
  8. Goggles
  9. 1 Hat/Cap
  10. Sun Block lotion and Lip Balm
  11. Moisturizing Cream / Body Cream
  12. Personal toiletries (Tooth brushes, soap, bathing towel, toilet roll etc)
  13. One extra small towel
  14. Personal medication (must be informed well before time to the accompanying teacher Incharge)
  15. Empty water bottle (1 litre capacity)
  16. Binoculars (optional)
  17. Participants wearing lenses/spectacles to get an extra pair of optical (if possible)for safety.
  18. Knap sack
  19. School Identity Card (which has to be worn all the time) -- COMPULSORY
  20. The Tour Passport(will be supplied by the school)– COMPULSORY (to be kept in the pocket while travelling)
  21. Watches (can be carried at your own risk).
  22. IPODs / MP3 players can be carried at your own risk.
  23. A Minimum amount of Rs. 2000 to Rs. 3000 may be carried by the participant which might be utilized for shopping.Participants are supposed to take permission from the accompanying teachers before shopping any item of their choice whether it’s food or any other item.

  3. Pillows etc (It will make the luggage unnecessarily heavy)
  4. Any explosive item.
