Make-Up Assignments

Holiday Concert Make-Up Assignment

Students that did not attend the holiday concert on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 are required to complete the make-up assignment. Follow the instructions below in order to earn full credit for this summative assessment.

  • Who? Any student that did not attend and participate in the holiday concert will need to complete the make-up assignment.
  • What? Students will perform their part of the concert selections for Mrs. Culver.
  • Where? Students will perform in a designated area (i.e. one of the band rooms, a practice room, etc.)
  • When? Mrs. Culver and the individual student will agree on a time. Performances can take place before school, during I/E, during A lunch or after school. All performances must be completed no later than Friday, December 21, 2012.
  • Why? Students will complete this make-up assignment in order to earn full credit for the holiday concert summative assessment.

Concert Reflection Make-Up Assignment

Students that did not participate in the concert reflection activity in class on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 are required to complete the make-up assignment. Follow the instructions below in order to earn full credit.

  • Who? Any student that did not participate in the concert reflection activities will need to complete the make-up assignment.
  • What? Students will listen to the recording of the concert and complete the Listen and Assess worksheet.
  • Where? Students have the choice of listening to the recording and completing the worksheet at school by appointment with Mrs. Culver. Or, students may listen to the recordings on line ( ) and complete the worksheet at home.
  • When? Mrs. Culver and the individual student will agree on whether the school or home option works best. Students can meet with Mrs. Culver before school, during I/E, during A lunch or after school. All assignments must be completed and turned in no later than Friday, December 21, 2012.
  • Why? Students will complete this make-up assignment in order to earn full credit for the concert reflection summative assessment.

Goal Setting Make-Up Assignment

Students that did not participate in the goal setting activity in class on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 are required to complete the make-up assignment. Follow the instructions below in order to earn full credit.

  • Who? Any student that did complete the goal setting worksheet will need to complete the make-up assignment.
  • What? Students will complete the Goal Setting Worksheet. The worksheet needs to be completed after completing the performance and Listen and Assess activity.
  • Where? Students will complete the worksheet outside of regular class time.
  • When? Mrs. Culver and the individual student will meet with students to receive worksheet. (Students can meet with Mrs. Culver before school, during I/E, during A lunch or after school.) All assignments must be completed and turned in no later than Friday, December 21, 2012.
  • Why? Students will complete this make-up assignment in order to earn full credit for the goal setting activity.
