Junglesport Inc. climbing and adventure programs are coming to our school!
Junglesport has run programs in schools across Ontario and Quebec for over 10 years, serving up to 100,000 participants every year.Their programs have been designed for kindergarten, primary, junior & intermediate grade students; and are board approved.
The philosophy behind their programs is S.A.F.E. – Safe, Active, Fun, Educational.
Junglesport sets up its climbing and challenge course structure in our school gymnasium and two qualified Junglesport instructors guide the students through a range of climbing and ropes course activities.There is always one teacher per class present in the gymnasium as well.
Junglesport supplies all the safety equipment required for all activities and each student is provided with a helmet and where appropriate, a harness. The helmets are constructed of a material that does not harbor lice and are sprayed on a regular basis.
Some of the activities on offer are: Rock Climbing; Bouldering; Low Ropes; Vertical Challenges; Obstacle Courses; Cable Ride and Team Challenges. All of the activities take place on the Junglesport structure in the safety and security of the school gymnasium.
Students will have the opportunity to try different activities, learn new skills, achieve success and increase self-awareness. To find out more information about Junglesport please visit their website or facebook.com/JungleSport.
If your child enjoys Junglesport, then please look out for their summer camps, which will take place in the Toronto/GTA region in 2016.
Dr SJ Phillips Public School is arranging a High Ropes Course from Mon. Oct. 19 - Fri. Oct. 23, 2015
The cost for participation in the school program is:
$15= (Gr. 7-8) approx. 200minutes for the week
$12 = (Gr. 4-6) approx. 140 minutes for the week
$8 = (Gr. 1-3) approx. 80 minutes for the week
$5 = (Kindergartens) approx. 50 minutes for the week
DUE by Oct 14, 2015 to the Office
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Please sign and return the attached Consent Form to your teacher.
2. Only JUNGLESPORT INC. Consent Forms will be accepted.
3. All forms of money payments are to DR S.J. PHILLIPS
