Minutes for the April 16, 2015 Meeting

1. Call to Order:
The meeting convened at approximately 10:30 a.m. with a quorum of members present: Henry Richards, Terri Mayer, Kari Reardon and David Hackett; and non-voting Lori Melchiori.
Not Present: John Chiles
The Department of Corrections representative membership is vacant.
The Law Enforcement representative membership is vacant.
Difficulties with the Conference Bridge resulted in a late start. The Panel modified the order of the agenda to conduct the Executive Session first to ensure sufficient time for review of recommendations.

3.Business Meeting: 11:15 – 11:35
- Minutes
- Minutes for the PSRP meetings of 3/11/15 and 3/19/15 approved as written.
- The Recommendation Review section of Minutes will include identification of the NGRI or 1114 status for each referral.
- PSRP Membership
- Dr. Richards spoke of his resignation from the PSRP in a few months.
- Lori is working with the Office of Boards and Commissionsregarding the process for appointment to the vacant DOC and Law Enforcement representative positions and will keep the members apprised of the status.
- Lori communicated PSRP support to the Office of Boards and Commissions for the creation of term-stagger by establishing a block of term cohorts with the upcoming three mid-term replacement appointments.
- Discussed travel arrangements for the May 21stPSRP spring in-person meeting at WSH.
- Distributed the new BHSIA Inter-Hospital Policy No. 1.3 (2/1/2015) regarding the 1114 population. PSRP had provided some early input during its development.
- BHSIA provided responses to questions that arose during earlier PSRP Recommendation Review meetings:
- Yes, both hospitals will be transitioning to DSM 5.
- The 2009 Interim Policy provided to the PSRP by ESH in conjunction with a referral had been superseded when incorporated into a 2012 Policy currently in effect. Ensuring consistent policy dissemination and training is an on-going effort at the hospitals.
