Classroom Rules

  1. Be on time and prepared
  • Be in your seat when the tardy bell rings.
  • Have all materials necessary for learning ready to go. This includes notebook, paper, and/or pens (blue or black ink) and pencils.
  • Be ready to learn and focused

  • Show respect for everyone in the classroom at all times
  • Use appropriate language when speaking – The use of profanity, derogatory language including slang, offensive language, and obscenities will not be tolerated.
  • Listen to others
  • If it is not yours do NOT touch it without permission.
  • Clean up after yourself – This is our classroom and we must keep it clean

  • Listen to/Read directions carefully
  • Ask any questions before beginning
  1. Be honest and truthful
  • Cheating and plagiarism will not be tolerated. Anyone caught cheating or plagiarizing will automatically receive a “0” for the assignment.
  • Take responsibility for your actions. Do not lie or blame someone else.
  1. Never line up before the bell
  • Stay in your seat until I dismiss you. Remember I dismiss you not the bell.
  1. All rules in the TCHS Student Handbook will be followed.
  2. No cell phones, ipods, and/or any other electronic devices allowed unless approved by teacher.
  3. Tests and major grades must be made up before or after school. If you are absent the day before a test, you will take the test with everyone else. You will then have 3 days to retake a comparable test before or after school.

1st Offense – Student/Teacher Conference – Warning

2nd Offense – Parent Contact

3rd Offense – Referral to the Office

** The teacher reserves the right to proceed with a referral to the office on the 1st offense depending on the severity of the offense.
