What is this “You are a temple of God all about?”

There is much misunderstanding in this “Ye are temples of God!” doctrine

For it is written:

Act 7:48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,

Act 7:49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

Act 7:50 Hath not my hand made all these things?

Act 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

Act 17:25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

So do you really still think God will live in your corrupted filthy human body?

Joh 4:19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

Joh 4:20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.

Joh 4:21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

Joh 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

Joh 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

Joh 4:24 Godisa Spirit [Being]: and they that worship him must worshiphimin spirit and in truth. Not in man made temples, synagogues, churches, or cathedrals which are just buildings!!! You worship God anywhere!!! In your house, on the street, on the John, in a cave basically anywhere for God does not require you to be in a specific place to worship Him!

Do you not get it yet? IT IS A RELATIONSHIP, FELLOWSHIP, FRIENDSHIP OR AS THE ITALIENS SAY LA FAMILIA!

So if you truly think that the Holy Spirit lives [INSIDE OF] in you, because it is written you are a temple, then you know not the scriptures!

The phrase simply means you are now a citizen of the Bride of Christ, which is nothing more than the city, the New Jerusalem, where all SAVED will live forever and be co-heirs and rules with our beloved Elohim’s that is with the Father, the Son [Jesus] and the Holy Spirit.

When you understand this simple truth, then you will see the light, anywhere in the Bible when it is written: “The Holy Spirit dwelleth in you” or “Dwell in you” It never ever means IN your physical body!!! But as in Union with you, consecrated to the same end, the highest good of all, and not self!

Eph 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, [You are no more ALIENS!] but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

Eph 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

Eph 2:22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the templeof God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

1Co 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

1Co 3:17 If any man defile the templeof God, him shall God destroy; for the templeof God is holy, which templeye are.

2Co 6:16 And what agreement hath the templeof God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God,which isnew Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: andI will write upon himmy new name.

Rev 7:15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell [live] among them.

Rev 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the templeof God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
