AIG 2015 to Present

AVP, Global Health Product Strategy and Design

AVP tasked with leading the new product development initiatives for Global Health startup across US and Europe, including the implementation of new governmental regulations and product strategy in European countries.

Aetna 2012 to 2015

Head of Private Exchanges

Provided management oversight for all phases insurance benefit products on Aetna’s proprietary private exchanges, as well as external third party exchanges for all business divisions. Led the legal and compliance analysis and review of contractual processes and documents and developed standardized manuals. Oversaw internal project teams and project plans, including: SharePoint websites, problem solving, internal processes and procedures and successful rollouts and implementations.

Key Accomplishments:

·  Established new protocols for following state and Federal guidelines and worked with up to 5 key Brokers and consultants to implement specialty products on their private exchange platforms.

·  Developed standardized private exchange reporting packages that gave a clear overview of quarterly benefits reporting.

·  Grew partnerships with external vendors that included vendor platform selection and assisted in supporting private exchange efforts.

·  Oversaw the entire financial and operational evaluation of Health and Wellness administration, health care vendor capabilities that included: plan design, rate development and program implementation.
