Sidewalk Sales Dates For 2015

The BID purchases city permits before most holidays to allow you to display goods on the sidewalkup to 3 feet from your buildingONLYon the following days between 8am and 8pm. On all other days and times it is illegal to place anything on the sidewalk on Graham Avenue from Broadway to Boerum St.IF you do, your storecan be issued a costly summons for failure to comply. This is a zero tolerance law existing in most large retail districts. Report illegal vending!!

THE BID DOES NOT SEND ADDITIONAL NOTICES BEFORE EACH OF THE FOLLOWING DATES…KEEP THIS FOR YOUR REFERENCE.

Give out store discount coupons and flyers to support it and increase your sales

IF youare ticketed for displaying goods on any of the above days:

Inform the issuing officer that the BID has the originalEvent 135779 Permit.

CONTACT our office immediately at718-387-6643 or .

Don’t argue with the agent- get his or her name and badge number, if possible.

MAKE A COPY OF THE VIOLATION-front and back and submit it to our office IMMEDIATELY!

KEEP THE ORIGINAL VIOLATION -The BID will fight the violation for you

NOTE: Once the violation goes to ECB it ismore difficult to challenge. If you delay contacting us, the BID will provide you with a copy of the events permit, but you must present yourown defense.
