Direct all health care operations including building and maintaining a network with local physicians, hospitals and public agencies to provide care. Assist in biannual budget development. Analyze program metrics, utilizing developed network to implement necessary changes, improvements, and programs to ensure a quality outcomes, including fiscal responsibility. Manage system in compliance with NCCHC and MDOC administrative standards, Oakland County Merit System, and HIPAA. Key Achievements:
Increased quality of pharmaceutical operations by establishing a network with a managed care pharmacy. Worked with contracted pharmacy to deploy safer medication dispensing system.
Worked jointly with contracted physicians to create evidence based chronic care delivery protocols that substantially improved productivity while improving process and outcome measures.
Through hospital network created a secure lock down unit for hospitalized inmates resulting in more value laden hospitalizations.
