Article Analysis HW – This article is linked on my website as Macbeth Witches Article. It’s 29 pages, but we will only focus on the section that begins with “Demonology” and continues through “Witch Evolution.” That’s pages 3-9 of the PDF.
Your assignment is to record four claims, quotes, or statements from the article and to record your agreement or disagreement with each quote’s specific claim. In other words, if the article claims “the witches are agents of chaos,” you would record that quote and then agree/disagree with that claim.

Macbeth SAT Vocabulary – Record a sentence for each word. The class will get a 100 for participation if we have ten different people read their sentences.
1. Multitudinous -existing in great numbers; numerous
2. Sundry - various; miscellaneous
3. Predominance - superiority
4. Augment - make greater; enlarge
5. Dauntless - fearless; cannot be intimidated
6. Jocund - cheerful; jovial
7. Malevolence - ill will; spitefulness
8. Credulous - tending to believe too readily
9. Pernicious - fatal; deadly
10. Equivocate- to use terms that have two or more meanings to mislead or purposely deceive.
