**Congratulations to the FFA members that competed at the North Central Region Land Judging Contest at Royal, NE. Eight members of our chapter earned ribbons at the contest. Individual ribbon winners were: Blue ribbon- Kate Mohr, Red ribbons- Jacob Czarnick and Blaine Jacobi, White Ribbons- Dalton Gembica, Isaac Booth, Andrew Nelson, Ross Hebda, and Kyle Kemper. Our chapter also qualified a team to compete at the State Land Judging Competition near Scribneron Wednesday. Members of the team will be: Blaine Jacobi, Dalton Gembica, Kate Mohr, Jacob Czarnick and alternate Landon Cuba.

****Sophomores, the Jostens Rep will be here onMonday, October 23rd during HR for a class ring meeting as well as onWednesday, October 25thduring HR to take deposits. You should have all received information about the class rings to prepare you for the meetings.

** Please wear purple to school on Oct. 19th to promote Dating Violence Awareness Month. FCCLA officers will be choosing the 3 top picks who wear purple & they will receive prizes.

**FCCLA is hosting the 3rd annual Food Pantry Scavenger Hunton Thursday, October, 19th. We will meet at the Lyon's Club at6:30for a quick orientation. Teams of4 maysign up on the FCCLA bulletin board, anyone is welcome, and prizes will be awarded for the top 3 teams that collect the most points. This is a great service to provide for our community come join in the fun and be a part of making a difference for families as we approach the holidays!

**Seniors, the Jostens Rep will be here onMonday, October 23rd during HR for graduation requirements as well as onWednesday, October 25thduring HR to take deposits. You will all receive information about orders this week to prepare you for the meetings, which are BOTH MANDATORY!

**FCCLA is adopting a Texas Kindergarten classroom that has been affected by Hurricane Harvey. The children in this classroom have had their lives greatly affected by this devastating hurricane and their teachers wish to bring nothing more than some normalcy back to their lives when they return to school. Please join us this week in donating red, blue, yellow, and green folders, cleaning materials for the classroom, and highlighters. Each week we will request new items, which can be delivered to Mrs. Andreasen's room. If everyone donates a small item, we can make a HUGE difference!
