1.INTRODUCTION:PleasereadtheseOfficialRules(“Rules”or“OfficialRules”)oftheRSACONFERENCE2017ABUDHABIPOST CONFERENCE EVALUATION SWEEPSTAKES(“Sweepstakes”).ToparticipateintheSweepstakes, you must agree to unconditionally accept and complywiththeRules,andthedecisionsandinterpretationsoftheseRulesbyRSA,TheSecurityDivisionofEMC.Winningtheprizeiscontingentuponfulfillingallrequirementssetforthherein.ByenteringyouagreetocomplywiththeseRules.Ifyoudonotagree,donotenteroracceptaprize.IntheseRules,“you”and“your”refertotheparticipantsthatenterthisSweepstakes.
2.ELIGIBILITY:ThisSweepstakesisonlyopentoindividualswhocanverifytoSponsor’ssatisfactionthatthey:[a]resideinEMEA,[b]donotresideinanExcludedTerritorydefinedbelow;[b]areoftheageofmajorityintheircountryofprimaryresidenceasofNovember6,2017;[c]successfullyregisteredfor(“Registration”)andattendedRSAConference2017AbuDhabibetweenNovember7-8,2017(“Event”)andreceivedanEventbadge(“Badge”);and,[d]compliedwiththeseRules.Employees,staff,independentcontractors,officers,directors,members,managers,agentsorotherrepresentativesofSponsorandEMCCorporation,ofeachofits/theirsubsidiariesandaffiliates,ofits/theirrespectiveadvertising-,promotion-andfulfillment-agencies,legaladvisors,andsuppliers,andallserviceprovidersassociatedwiththeSweepstakes(alloftheforegoingentitiesreferredtocollectivelyasthe“SweepstakesEntities”),andanymembersofeachsuchperson’simmediatefamily(spouses,parents,siblings,childrenandtheir spouses and in-laws) andpersonslivinginthesamehouseholdofsuchindividuals(whetherrelatedornot)(collectively“Family”)arenoteligible.

AllEntriesaresubjecttotheRules.EachParticipantispermittedtoenteronlyonce,andmaywinonlyoneprize.AllEntries(includinganswerstoallsurveys)becomethepropertyofSponsorandtheirreceiptwillnotbeacknowledgedorreturned.AnyattemptbyapersontogainmoreEntriesthanpermittedbytheRulesshallresultindisqualificationatSponsor’ssolediscretion.Intheeventofadisputeconcerningwhosubmitted

EntriesMayIncurInternetUsageCharges.Whenyousubmitanevaluationelectronicallyusingyoursmartphoneorwirelessdevice,unlessyouusethefreeWiFiprovidedattheEvent,normalInternetaccessandusagechargesimposedbyyouronlineservicewillgenerallyapply,accordingtothetermsandconditionsofyourserviceagreement.Useofawirelessmobiledevicemayresultinairtimeandcarrierchargesaccordingtothetermsandconditionsofyourserviceagreementwithyourwirelesscarrier.YouunderstandthatbyparticipatinginthisSweepstakesbyusingasmartphoneorbyprovidingyourmobilephonenumberaspartofanEntry,ifyouareapotentialwinner,theSponsormaycontactyouviamobilephone,whichwillbesubjecttothechargespursuanttoyourcarrier’srateplan.
4.SELECTIONOFPOTENTIALWINNERANDNOTIFICATION:OnoraboutNovember17,2017,baseduponanonymousidentifiersassociatedwitheachEntry,one(1)PrizewinnerwillberandomlychosenbyVendorand/orSponsorfromamongallEntries.TheselectedParticipantwillhavewonaprizesubjecttofulfillmentofallrequirementsundertheRules.VendororSponsorwillcontactthepotentialwinnerwithintwobusinessdaysofbeingselectedbysendinganemailusingtheinformationprovidedontheEntry.Winnerwillbeaskedtoprovideinformationsuchashisorherfullname,address,age,andphonenumberinordertoclaimtheprize,andtocomplete, signandreturntheSponsor’s Prize Claim Documents defined below toSponsorwithinfive(5)daysoftheemailnotificationbeingsent.The odds of winning depend on thenumberofEntriesreceived.
ALLPOTENTIALWINNERSARESUBJECTTOVERIFICATIONBYSPONSOR,WHOSEDECISIONSWITHRESPECTTOTHESWEEPSTAKES,INCLUDINGBUTNOTLIMITEDTOELIGIBILITY,AREFINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE SWEEPSTAKES. In the event that
production,technical,programmingoranyotherreasonscausemorethanstatednumberofprizesassetforthhereintobeclaimed,Sponsorreservestherighttoawardonlythe stated number of prizes by a randomdrawingamongalllegitimate,un-awarded,eligibleprizeclaims.
Disqualification.AtthesolediscretionoftheSponsor,disqualification,andforfeituremayresultfromanyofthefollowing:[1]failuretorespondtonotificationofbeingselectedasawinnerwithinfive(5)days,ortoanyothercommunicationsenttothepotential/winnerwithinforty-eight(48)hoursorsuchtimeperiodprovidedbySponsororVendor;[2]failuretoprovidesatisfactoryproofofeligibilityasmayberequested;[3]failuretovalidlyclaimany prize;[4]anyothernon-compliancewithRules;and[5]ifSponsorbelieves,in itssolediscretion,thatalegalissuepresentsasignificantproblemrelatedtoawardingaprizetoaselectedentrant.Ifanyforfeitureoccurs,Sponsorwillmakeatleasttwosubsequentattemptsto award the forfeited prize toalternatewinners,afterwhichSponsorshallhavenoobligationtoawardtheprize.
5.PRIZE:Winnersoftheprizewilleachreceiveone(1)BoseQuietComfort35WirelessHeadphones,withanapproximateretailvalueinUSDollars(‘ARV’)of$349.99. Aggregate ARV of all prizes (each a “Prize”) is
$1,214.94.Prizesaresubjectto“Taxes”below.
ThePrizeoranyalternateprizeasdescribedhereinrepresentsthecomplete obligation and entire amountawardedthewinnerbySponsorundertheSweepstakes.Prizesarenotredeemableforcashandarenottransferable.Nocashorothersubstitutionmaybemade,exceptbySponsor,whichreservestheright(exceptwherecontrarytolocallawsorregulations)tosubstituteaprizeinwholeorinpartwithanotherprizeof
comparableorgreatervalueiftheintendedprizeoranyportionthereofisnotavailableforanyreasonasdeterminedbySponsorinitssolediscretion.
PrizesareapplicablefordistributiontoandusebyconsumersintheEMEAmarket,andmaynotfunction,beexportable,orsupportedbyitsissuerasapplicable,outsideofEMEA.AlldetailsandotherrestrictionsofthePrizenotspecifiedintheseOfficialRuleswillbedeterminedbySponsorinitssolediscretion.Prizespicturedinadvertising,displays,andotherSweepstakesmaterialsareforillustrativepurposesonly.Actualprizemayvaryfromprizesaspictured.ThisSweepstakes isinno way sponsored,endorsed oradministeredby,orassociatedwiththemanufacturerofanyprizeortheothersponsorsoftheEvent.

ARVLimitations.TheARVofthePrizeissubjecttopricefluctuationsintheconsumermarketplacebasedon,amongotherthings,anygapintimebetweenthedatetheARVisestimatedforpurposesoftheseOfficialRulesandthedatetheprizeisawardedorredeemed.SponsorwillexpenduptoamaximumoftheARVofthePrizeasstatedabovefor/towardthePrize,butmayexpendlessdependingupontheprevailingprice,rebatesandincentivesavailableatthattime.Winnerisnotentitledtoclaimanycheck,cashorotherformofpaymentforthedifferenceinvaluebetweentheamountpaidbySponsorfor/towardthePrizeandthePrize'sARVabove.
6.GENERALPRIZECONDITIONS:Priortoawardinganyprize,Sponsor,in its sole discretion, mayrequireEntrantstosignand/orreturnanaffidavitofeligibility,publicityrelease,anyrequiredtaxforms,andaliabilityreleasebenefitingSponsor(collectively“PrizeClaim Documents”) as described herein. Failure toreturnanyofthePrizeClaimDocumentscompletedandfullyexecutedwithinfive(5)daysofprizenotificationandreceivingsuchPrizeClaimDocuments(orashortertimeifrequiredbyexigencies),exceptwhereprohibitedbyapplicablelaw,maycausetheprizetobeforfeitedandpotentiallyawardedtoanalternateassolelydeterminedbytheSponsor.OncereturnedfullyexecutedandverifiedbySponsor,Sponsorwilldeclarethewinner.Aphotocopy,scannedversionorfacsimileofanysignedPrizeClaimDocumentsisasvalidasifsignedwithanoriginalsignature.
ExceptwithrespecttoanywarrantyissuedfromthePrizemanufacturerifapplicable,PrizeisawardedbySponsorwithoutwarrantyofanykind,expressorimplied,withoutlimitation.WITHOUTLIMITINGTHEGENERALITYOFTHEFOREGOING,SUCHPRIZEISPROVIDED“ASIS”WITHOUTWARRANTYOFANYKIND,EITHEREXPRESSORIMPLIED,ANDSPONSORHEREBYDISCLAIMSALLSUCHWARRANTIES,INCLUDINGBUTNOTLIMITEDTO,THEIMPLIEDWARRANTIESOFMERCHANTABILITY,FITNESSFORAPARTICULARPURPOSEAND/ORNON-INFRINGEMENT,EXCEPTWHERETHISWOULDBECONTRARYTONATIONAL,FEDERAL,STATE,PROVINCIAL,
ORLOCALLAWSORREGULATIONS.SponsorshallhavenoresponsibilityorobligationtoawinnerorpotentialwinnerwhoisunableorunavailabletoacceptorutilizethePrizeasdescribedherein.
Byacceptingtheprize,winneralsoagreesandacknowledgesthattheprizedoesnotinanywayinfluenceanydecisionindoingbusinesswithSweepstakesEntities,andthattheprizewasnotgiveninconnectionwithorrelatedtoanysaleorcommercialtransaction.
PrizeDelivery.IfnotdistributedattheEvent,withinsix(6)weeksafterSponsordeclaresanEntrantawinner,thePrizewillbemailedtothatwinner’shomeaddressasprovidedonthePrizeClaimDocuments.Sponsorwillgenerallyberesponsibleformailingcostsofdeliveringtheprizetowinner’sresidenceinEMEAorotherlocationacceptabletoSponsor.NoPOboxesarepermitted.Exceptasdescribed,allotherhandling,taxes,
charges,costs,andfeesassociatedwiththedelivery,acceptance,receiptanduseoftheprizearetheresponsibilityofthewinner.
PublicityRelease.Acceptanceofaprizeconstitutesprizewinner’spermissionforSponsoranditsdesigneestouseprizewinner’sname,photograph,likeness,voice,biographicalinformation,statementsandaddress(cityandstate)foradvertising,marketing,tradeand/orpublicitypurposesthroughouttheuniverseandinallformsofmedianowknownorhereafterdeveloped,inperpetuity,andwithoutfurthercompensation,incentive,consideration,consentorreview,unlessprohibitedbylaw.
7.SWEEPSTAKESENTITIESNOTRESPONSIBLEORLIABLE:EntrantsagreethattheSweepstakesEntities:[1]shallnotberesponsibleorliablefor,andareherebyreleasedfrom,anyandallcosts,injuries,lossesordamagesofanykind,toEntrantincluding,withoutlimitation,deathandbodilyinjury,dueinwholeorinpart,directlyorindirectly,toparticipationintheSweepstakesoranySweepstakes-relatedactivity,orfromEntrants’acceptance,receipt,possession,lossand/oruseormisuseofanyprize,excepttotheextentprohibitedbylaw,and[2]havenotmadeanywarranty,representationorguaranteeexpressorimplied,infactorinlaw,withrespecttoanyprize,including,withoutlimitation,tosuchprize’s quality or fitness for aparticularpurpose.
ReleaseofSweepstakesEntities.Withoutlimitingthegeneralityoftheforegoing,andwhethercausedbytheEntrant,anotherparty,oranypersonsatorassociatedwiththeEntries,orSweepstakesEntities,SweepstakesEntitiesarenotresponsibleforandarereleasedfromanyliabilityassociatedwith:incomplete,illegible,misdirected,misprinted,late,lost,damaged,stolen,orpostage-duesubmissions,Entries,orprizerelatednotifications;orforlost,interrupted,inaccessibleorunavailablenetworks,servers,satellites,Internetserviceproviders,websites,orotherconnections;orformiscommunications,failed,jumbled,mistyped,scrambled,delayed,ormisdirectedcomputer,telephoneorcabletransmissions;orforanytechnicalmalfunctions,failures,difficultiesorothererrorsofanykindornature;orforanyunauthorizedhumanintervention;orforanyfailuretoaccuratelycaptureofinformation;or for inabilityof Entrant to timely enter, be present for a drawing,receivenotices,communicatewithSponsororSweepstakesEntities,oruseoracceptaPrize;orforanydelaysinscheduling,performanceofand/orcompletionofanyproceduresassociatedwiththeSweepstakes,orforanyprintingortypographicalerrorsinanymaterialsassociated with the Sweepstakes; or for any eventsbeyondSweepstakesEntities’reasonablecontrolincludingbywayofexample,asmayresultindisruptions,injuries,lossesordamagesassociatedwiththeSweepstakes.
ForceMajeure: ThefailureoftheSponsortocomplywithanyprovisionoftheseOfficialRulesorforfailureorunavailabilityasitpertainstosubmittinganEntryorselectingorcommunicatingwithawinnerduetoanactofGod,hurricane,war,terrorism,fire,riot,inclementweather,industrialdispute,epidemic,earthquake,actionsofgovernmentalauthorities,technologicalfailure,oranyoccurrenceoreventoutsidethereasonablecontroloftheSponsor,orotherforcemajeureeventshallnotbeconsideredabreachoftheseOfficialRules.
8.GENERALTERMS:SponsorreservestherighttoremoveanyEntrantfromtheSweepstakes(i.e.,Disqualification)forviolationofthesetermsandconditionsofuse,orifentryintheSweepstakesviolatesthelawsapplicableinthejurisdictionwheretheentrantisemployedorlives.Nomechanicallyreproduced,forged,robotic,programmed,script,macro,software-generatedorotherautomatedorthirdpartyormultipleentries(orportionsthereof)(collectively"AutomatedEntries")arepermitted.SponsorwilldisqualifyallEntriesitdeterminesweresubmittedasAutomatedEntries.SponsorreservestherightinitssolediscretiontodisqualifyanyindividualwhoisfoundinSponsor’ssolejudgmenttobetampering with the entry process or theoperationoftheSweepstakes,thedrawing,submissionofEntries,MobileApp,orEventwebsite,tobeactinginviolationoftheseOfficialRules,ortobeactinginanunsportsmanlikeordisruptivemanner,orwiththeintenttodisruptorunderminethelegitimateoperationoftheSweepstakes,ortoannoy,abuse,threatenorharassanyotherperson,andSponsorreservestherighttoseekdamagesandotherremediesfromanysuchpersontothefullestextentpermittedbylaw.
ANYATTEMPTBY ANENTRANTORANYOTHERINDIVIDUALTODELIBERATELYDAMAGEANYWEBSITE,TAMPERWITHTHEENTRYPROCESS,ONEORMOREENTRIES,ORTHESELECTIONPROCESS,OROTHERWISEUNDERMINETHELEGITIMATEOPERATIONOFTHESWEEPSTAKESMAYBEAVIOLATIONOFCRIMINALANDCIVILLAWSANDSHOULDSUCHANATTEMPTBEMADE,SPONSORRESERVESTHERIGHTTOCOOPERATEINTHEPROSECUTIONOFANYSUCHINDIVIDUAL(S)ANDTOPURSUEALLREMEDIESTOTHEFULLESTEXTENTPERMITTEDBYLAW.
Suspension, Modification or Termination. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend, orterminatetheSweepstakesifitdetermines,initssolediscretion,thattheSweepstakesistechnicallyimpairedorcorruptedorthatfraudortechnicalproblems,failuresormalfunctionsorothercausesbeyondSponsor’scontrolhavedestroyedorseverelyunderminedortoanydegreeimpairedtheintegrity,administration,security,proper play and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein. For any such cancellation,termination or suspension, or in the event of any changes made to these Rules, notice thereof will beannouncedbyemailingallParticipantshavingsubmittedanEntryand/orbypostingtheinformationat If the Sponsor decides to reconvenethe Sweepstakes after a suspension, the determination of the Prize winner will be made from among alleligible, non-suspect Entries received as of the date of the suspension, as Sponsor determines in its solediscretion. Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy under suchcircumstances.
