Parents are requested to bake the cake involving children into and hence telling them about the

concept of health.

½ Can (400 gms for full can) Condensed milk

125 grams (4 ½ oz.) self – raising flour

1 tablespoon cocoa

1 tablespoon chocolate powder

½ teaspoon soda bi- carb

1 level teaspoon baking powder

60 ml. Melted butter or margarine

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Method : Give a bowl to your child and let him / her put it on the table. Now give him / her

flour, cocoa, chocolate powder, baking powder and soda bi-carbonate one by one and let

him / her sieve these all ingredients. Now mix the condensed milk, flour mixture, 75ml water,

the vanilla essence and melted butter thoroughly. After your baby’s handwork, at last cake

mixture is ready, Now pour the cake mixture into a greased and dusted 150mm or

175mm (6” or 7”) diameter tin. Hey Kids, now its mom’s turn! Mom, bake it in a hot oven

at 200 degree C (400 degree F) for 10 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 180

degree C (350 degree F) and bake for further 10 minutes. Yummy and healthy cake is

ready when it leaves the sides of the tin and is springy to touch. When ready, take out the

tin over a rack and tap sharply to remove. Finally pack the cake and send it to school.

c ) STORY

‘It’s Christmas Eve, Santa is getting ready for Christmas. Santa puts on his

red jackets and his red hat. There are lots of presents in Santa’s sleigh for children around

the world. Now they are off. Santa leaves a present for boys and girls. Heeats one

cup cake. Then two,three, four. Amy is a little boy who is asleep at home. Santa climbs down thechimney with Amy’s present. But oh dear. He is too fat. He can’t move. So Amy helps him to

come out of the chimney.”Can you help me to take the present?.

Yes Santa. Let’sgo! Amy helped Santa by putting the presents under the tree. Santa gave

a special gift to Amy for helping him.

Moral : We should always help others
