The Cary Academy PTAA Community Grant -- Application ______

Purpose of grant: to support Cary Academy community events that bring the Cary Academy community together to enrich, entertain and / or celebrate achievement of Cary Academy students, faculty, parents and administration.

Maximum Award: $1,250 The PTAA has budgeted $2,000 for Community Grants in the 2008-09 academic year. Funds allocated to this grant program are solely dependent on the success of the CA PTAA Auction and may be revised annually.

Submission: applications will be accepted throughout the academic year by the PTAA Vice President. For 2008-09, send application and supporting documents via e-mail to: Karen Green, 919-469-3821, or deliver to the Advancement Office, ATTN: PTAA Vice President.

Review and Notification: Applications received by the 2nd Thursday of each month will be reviewed on or before the 4th Thursday. Applicants will be notified of the Oversight Committee decision within 5 days of review. The Grant Oversight Committee is comprised of the Alliance President, Alliance Vice-President and the Head of School.

Summary Report Form: A written assessment report for the activity must be submitted to the Oversight Committee within 30 days of the activity’s completion. This report will be recorded with the Alliance quarterly General Meeting minutes.
