Important Notes

  • September 1st is a contractual reorganization day. In designing the professional development schedule, an organizational day must be included in the beginning of the year.
  • On days when both Early Literacy PD and K-8 Math PD are listed, principals are encouraged to (1) choose the Math PD if their school has not yet attended the Math Institute; (2) use building level data to drive decision-making around who attends which session at their school.
  • Two weeks in advance of each PD day, Principals will receive a supplemental PD Catalog. It will include specific details to guide their planning and a list of off-site pull out sessions being facilitated. This resource should be used to determine which staff members should register for sessions offered by other offices.

Questions about the PD calendar should be directed to .
