UNCANNY PARALLELS and RELIGIOUS CORRECTNESS
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. – 2 Cor. 2:11
There are at least four systems that have uncanny parallels, which demonstrate that Satan uses many of the same devices in many different areas. In the legal system, in the political system, in the Biblical system, and in the false doctrinal systems, we find the same progressive trail of the serpent, which adds and takes away from the proper standards and final authorities.
The Legal System
Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death; -- Matt. 26:59
The foundation of our legal system is the Bible and the constitution. However, progressive legal maneuvers have reduced the constitution to CASE LAW and the Bible is never considered. This means that liberal, progressive lawyers can ignore the constitution and the Bible and argue their case from post-constitution, liberal, progressive judges and their decisions from lesser standards and authorities.
The Political System
Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. – John 7:24
Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation, -- Acts 5:17
But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. – 2 Pet. 2:10
The foundation of a legitimate government and political system is also the Bible and a constitution. However, progressive political maneuvers by activists and politicians have reduced this foundation to quotes from their historical and/or living heroes. This means that liberal, progressive politicians and political activists can ignore the constitution and the Bible and propagandize their own particular brand of politics from lesser standards and authorities.
The Biblical System
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. – 2 Tim. 3:15 -17
The correct basis of what the Bible is can only be found only in the Bible itself. However, progressive theological maneuvers have reduced the Bible to traditions, strife about manuscripts, Texts, history, lexicons, and theological rules and scholarship. This means that liberal, progressive theologians can ignore what the Bible has to say about itself by using extra scriptural declarations by Professor Whatchamahamaczysz and previous progressives and liberal theologians and other lesser standards and authorities to argue what the Bible really is.
The False Doctrinal Systems
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. – Isa 8:20
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness . . . – 2 Tim 3:16
The basis of correct doctrine is the Bible. However, the man made heresies, cults, isms, and false systems of doctrine have reduced correct doctrine to progressive creeds, catechisms, traditions, and theological declarations by dead men or founders of the new religious doctrines and religions and/or their books. This means that heretics, cults, and false doctors can ignore the Bible for doctrine and parrot one another. Or else they can force the comments of dead men or their living religious heroes into the Bible to argue their false doctrine from lesser standards and authorities.
Political Correctness versus Religious Correctness
Isa 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
The political landscape and the religious landscape share a number of similarities. To be politically correct today, you must refrain from speaking out against evil or wrong doing under the penalty of being accused of hating folks who are different than you and/or who disagree with you. In the religious realm it is hardly any different. Those who expose or criticize certain doctrinal positions or others are considered hateful or unloving. In either case, one must not be critical of anything that is wrong or evil and give it all a pass and/or remain silent. In modern terms, do not rock the boat! In biblical terms, the results of such compromises are WOE which demands a WHOAH on such a practice. We do not hesitate to expose, criticize, and upraid Bible Corrector-ism, Bible Defender Pretender-ism, Ecumenism, Ecclesiasticalism, Neoevangelicalism, ultra-dispensationalism, unisex dress (transvestitism), rotten Christian music, Invisible Churchism, Reformed theology, Infant Baptism, Kingdom Exclusion, Christians in hell fire-ism for even an instant of time.
Moreover 5 point Calvinism, sin, evil, compromise, apostasy, error, and wrong are to be condemned, regardless whether the saved or lost are guilty of it. Political correctness is wrong, but religious correctness is worse. Of course, many of the Marshmallow, Powder Puff, and Spongy brethren have found a cowardly way around all this by not addressing such things and by saying nothing one way or another in order to keep the peace. Don’t worry about splitting a sponge; you can’t do it. By their stumbling blocks, they cause confusion and cause many weaker brethren to stumble.
The Old Man that Follows Evil rather Good is not of God
3 John 1:11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
The way to tell, if a believer is in the flesh or not, is to examine whatever and whomever they follow. Do they follow good, or do they follow evil? Do they parrot evil and evil doers? The new nature/creature/man follows God, whereas the old man and flesh follows the evil.
The Difference Among Saved Brethren and Between the Lost
John 3:19, 20 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
1 Cor 3:3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
1 Cor 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
1 Cor 5:11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
2 Cor 7:9 -11 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort
Eph 4:17, 18 This I say . . . that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
1 John 1:6, 7 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
Lost folks have no spiritual discernment at all, however, believers fall into two categories, carnal and non-carnal. Mature believers have their senses exercised to discern between good and evil. Carnal believers are not able to do discern between good and evil. Sin blinds even carnal saved folks, and they too can also have darkened minds, have their understanding darkened, and walk in darkness just like the lost Gentiles. To expect the same level of maturity, growth, and spirituality from all genuine believers would be too much to ask or demand. However, to expect mature believers to be muzzled in regard to suppressing truth would be much more to ask or demand of faithful brethren. So, lost people and carnal saved people share some things in common as follows:
1. They both can walk in darkness with a darkened understanding.
2. They both need repentance
3. They both need to come to the light
4. They both do not like to have their sins, compromise, apostasy, and error exposed
The Liberal Retaliation to Brothers Who Expose their Sin, Error, and Apostasy
1 Pet 3:16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
Rom 3:8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.
When faithful believers earnestly contend for the faith and stand up for the scriptures, they are met with retaliatory complaints of hate, lack of love, and even worse criticism from those liberal brethren who err from the faith. The liberal double standard is to slander faithful Bible believers. Phony Bible defender pretenders have called Herb Evans a nutcase and a heretic for defending the KJB as being given by inspiration by KJB. Such pretenders parrot the same decade old Bible Corrector lines and excuses.
Loyalty to Truth or Loyalty to the Brethren?
2 John 1:1 - 6 The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth; For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever. Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father. And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
3 John 1:1 - 8 The elder unto the well beloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth; For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever . . . I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth . . . I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth . . . We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellowhelpers to the truth . . .
Brethren, who do not contend for the faith or who rather compromise and err from the faith, when exposed, invariably talk about love and unity and try to categorize the more faithful brethren with a lack of love and being contentious. Unfortunately, such views of love contradict the Bible view of love, which is inseparable from truth. We are to love the brethen in the truth. Grace and mercy proceed from God in truth and love, and should also proceed from us, as well, in that manner. Brethren are to testify of truth rather than suppress truth. We can rejoice in brethren in whom we find truth, who WALK IN TRUTH, but we cannot do so when the opposite is the case. We should receive such and be fellow helpers to those who so walk, but we should not help those brethren who walk in error and who are opposed to truth. We should be above board with a “If the shoe fits, put it on!” mentality and should lift up our voices as a trumpet and show God’s people their sin. And if we are guilty of the same, the same should be done to us. Paul did not spare Peter and told him the truth in BIBLE love. Bible love is tough love based upon truth. Shall we do less?
