Thanks to those who helped with the dance on Friday. The students had a great time. We are still working on the “pick-up” procedure. We will send more information for the dance this month. Also, thanks to those who helped with the Rotary Luncheon on Sunday.

Southeastern has many opportunities for students and parents available this month. Please make sure you mark your calendars for these upcoming events. We need everyone’s support and participation to help make the events successful.

Exhibition Basketball Game

Kmart will host an exhibition basketball game at Southeastern on Saturday, October 6. Kmart employees will have several teams playing each other to raise money for the United Way. Procedes from concessions and the gate will be used by SES Athletic Boosters to help improve the athletic fields. Games will be available for our students during half time. Games include a “shoot out” and “dizzy bat.” Come and enjoy the fun beginning at 6:00 pm.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

The first quarter of the 2001-2002 school year will end on October 11. Report cards will be sent home with students on Thursday, October 18. The end of the first quarter is an important measure of your child’s progress this school year. Parents will be given the oportunity to meet with teachers to discuss student progress during two parent-teacher conference days on October 22 and 23. Students will be bringing home a sign-up sheet from their team teachers so that parents may request a conference. The parent-teacher conference days will be holidays for students.
