To enter the competition you need to present a cut down version of a business feasibility study. This should provide a distillation of the feasibility studies core themes. You should refer Understnading Dimensions of Business Viability and Business feasbility Study Outline in the resource section of the competition website. To assist you in identifying the core themes of your BCP outline, the template below outlines the main sections.

Part 1: Overview of Business Concept ( Limit to 200 words )
You should describe in brief the proposed business, target market, area of operation , management model and uniqueness of the concept. This overview should be more about vision rather than actual the business process.
Part 2: Proof of Business Concept ( Limit to 200 words )
You will need to clearly demonstrate how you intend to prove that your proposed business concept is not only viable as a business idea/model but also is financially viable given the availability of resources. You should consider what research will be conducted, how it will be analysed and then presented in support of you business plan. Traditionally a feasibility study is the key management tool used to support a proof a business concept. Please refer to ‘Understanding a Proof of Business Concept’ downloadable from the competition website under “Business Plans” section.
Note: For this competition you will not complete a separate Proof of Business Concept but it will be included within the main Business Plan submission.
Part 3: Business Plan Outline (Limit to 200 words)
You are required to submit a brief outline of how the business plan will be structured. Although a guide has been provided in the website, you need to ensure that your outline best suits your business concept. Although most business plans have the common purpose of communication they often differ considerable in their outline based on what they are specifically trying to achieve given the nature of the proposed business. The outline can be submitted in point form similar to a table of contents. Also list any appendices that you believe you would be require to attached in support of the business plan submission.
Part 4: Best Innovative Entrepreneur (Limit to 200 words)
You are required to submit a brief statement of how you believe your business concept and business planning approach has strong entrepreneurial and innovative qualities.
Part 5: Achieving Success, Sustainability or Commercialisation (Limit to 50 words)
You are required to submit a brief statement of how you would achieve capital (finance) to fully start/commercialise your proposed business concept.
Both the MurdochBusinessSchool and the Best Entrepreneur Business Plan Competition Unit Coordinator, reserve the right to change or amened the structure of the business plan competition. Any changes made to the competition will require all registered participants to be advised of those changes.
