March 14-18: Ohio Graduation Tests
April 4-22: Ohio Computer Based Assessments – End of Course Exams
May 18: Senior Awards Night, 7-9 in Auditorium
May 22: Graduation at 1:30 p.m.
Junior Girls interested in Buckeye Girls State see Mrs. McConahay ASAP if you are interested in representing Parkway June 12-18 at Mount Union. We still have one opening.
Feb. 27: Ohio Veterinary Exploration Conference & College Fair at Hyatt Regency Columbus for high school students interested in veterinary medicine. Registration is $5/student and includes lunch. There will be a Parent Workshop on the same day from 10-12:15 for $10 which includes lunch also. Register at by Feb. 19.
Feb. 28, 1:30 Minster Elementary School will host the American Legion 2nd District Oratorical Contest for students in grades 9-12. Go to for more information.
Yale Young Global Scholars Program is for current sophomore & junior student leaders. Summer sessions in Politics, Law & Economics; International Affairs & Security; Technology, Innovation & Entrepreneurship; Applied Science & Engineering; Biological & Biomedical Science; Sustainability, Energy & Environment. Joyce Ivy Foundation Summer Scholars program for high-achieving female HS students in grades 9-11, in select states including Ohio, supports academic experiences at Barnard, Brown, Cornell, Emory, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, MIT, Smith, Stanford, Yale and Washington University in St. Louis. Reynolds Young Writers Workshop for current sophomores & juniors will be held at Denison in Granville, Ohio, June 12-19. Apply by March 6, 2016, at
University of Akron will host an opportunity for female students entering grades 9, 10, 11, or 12 in fall of 2016. The Summer Experience in Engineering program will be held June 12-17 at University of Akron. Cost is $495 which includes room, board, etc, -financial aid available.
