Surfing camp 2016

REEFSeaCenter is located in Herzelya Pituach at the DAN Acadia 5 star hotel. It overlooks the beautiful sunny Herzelya beaches and provides lifeguard, first aid and security services.

We at the REEFSeaCenter believe that professional guidance, high standards and a friendly environment make the diving and surfing experience much more enjoyable then it already is.

Every summer and holiday for the last 16 years, we, at the REEF Sea Centerhave been holding summer camps for children and youth. There are several types of camps for you to choose from.

Surf Camp (for beginners):In this program we teach surfing from the basics according to his/her level and progress; how to stand on the board, how to avoid dangerous situations in the water, “reading” the waves and more.

Surf Camp (for "pros'"):this camp is for surfers who want to improve and learn new techniques in surfing. (Good for kids who participated before in our camp or have some experience from home).

EXTREME Camp new!:10 days of fun! Combines all the water sports – surfing, kayaks, Sup, scuba diving, snorkeling and more… the camp will be separate from the surfing camp. The groupes will be splite by age: 7-9, 10-12, 13-16.

The Instructors:

All of the instructors are professional surfers, competing in Israel and all over the world. They come year after year to work with a smile, anxious to teach the new generation of surfers and maybe the next world champion... All instructors have a lot of experience training both children and adults.

General info:

  • The camp begins every Sunday of each week of July and August and also during Succoth and Pesah. It is possible to participate for more than one week in order to practice and gain more confidence in the water- only in Surfing camps.
  • The surfing camp is from Sunday – Thursday from 09:00 to 13:30,including a small meal or from 14:00-19:30.
  • The camp is at the REEF Beach in Herzelya Pituach – a secured beach with lifeguard services, parking, shade and protection from the waves – breakwater.
  • During the camp the REEF Sea Center will provide all the equipment including a lycra shirt for UV protection.
  • The surfing camps are open for all children from ages 7 to 16, no prior knowledge is required.

150 NIS will not be return in case of cancellatiom .

  • Diving camp hours: 7:30 Am-14:00 might be changes of the finish hour of the day . you need to be in daily contact with the office for finishing hour and to fill different form.

Time of pick up will be scheduled a few days before the beginning of the camp – please confirm a day before the beginning of the camp.

The cars won’t wait for any one who is late – please wait 5 minutes before the scheduled time.

The cars will pick up the kids from central locations in every city and not from home!

The registration for the transportation service is for a minimum of 5 days! In case of cancellation, money will not be refunded.
