___I/we would like our barn quilt, name, address, and pictures to be included in BQLC brochures/website/map guides as deemed appropriate by the BQLC committee.
If you have a quilt pattern in mind, please include the name and a copy of the pattern. All blocks used will need to be approved by the BQLC Committee in order to maintain continuity, refrain from excess duplication and insure quality of the project. In making this application for a Barn Quilt, the undersigned agrees to accept the following conditions and requirements. Please initial each line below to indicate your agreement:
___I/we will work with the BQLC Committee regarding design and colors (red, yellow, orange, green, blue, black, white and purple) of the proposed barn quilt square.
___The quilt square will remain on the building at least five (5) years. After that time, the quilt square will remain on the building until the owner asks for it to be removed or it becomes apparent that the piece needs to be repaired or renewed.
___Barn or building site must be visible from the road or on a site that is frequently visited. The Committee will have the final say as to the appropriateness of the site.
___The barn quilt square is the property of the barn owner with BQLC committee having certain rights, i.e. postcards, calendars, repainting, removal.
___I/we agree to include my quilt block in any quilt trail developed and will follow the guidelines of the local committee.
