Requirements: /
  • Relevant NQF 6 qualification and 3 years Human Resource Management working experience or minimum 5 years experience in similar position.
  • Experience in delivering and administering skills programmes
  • Working knowledge of training methodologies
  • Ability to handle pressure
  • Qualified facilitator will be advantageous
  • Working knowledge of Peopleware (Accys) would be advantageous
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, (Word, Excel and Power point)

Key Performance Area / Description
Training & Development /
  • Liaise with line management in identifiying employees for future growth and development to meet Support Office future management requirements
  • In liaison with line management develop skills gap analysis for identified employees on management succession plan.
  • Arrange and facilitate Psychometric assessments for identified individuals
  • Compile assessment reports for discussion with Department Heads
  • Scheduling and administration of external training courses
  • Develop and maintain training material in line with company policies and procedures

Course presentation /
  • Presentation of management programmes for Support Office / Operations delegates
  • Assess Portfolio of Evidence’s (POE’s) for accredited training programmes
  • Certification of managers who have attended the training programmes
  • Plan and schedule all training courses as per the training calendar
  • Ensure training facilities are prepared for any training to take place

HR key indicator analysis and advice /
  • Analyse the monthly staff turnover and absenteeism rates for each Department.
  • Advise line management regarding the process to follow to rectify any out of line HR indicators

Functional Training /
  • Ensure all positions within Support Office has a functional training pack
  • Ensure all new employees receive an induction file (as per requests received from line management)

Skills Development LevyRebates /
  • Administer theInternal W&R SETA rebate process within Operation and Support Office
  • Compile and submit report to all Department Heads for sign off on a monthly basis
  • Ensure report is submitted to finance monthly after receiving sign off from Department Heads

Performance Appraisal Process /
  • Compile company summary with regards to appraisal conducted and performance rewarded

Exit Interviews /
  • Conduct exit interviews, if and when required
  • Compile exit interview report for each exit interview conducted
  • Capture and analyse exit interview information

Job descriptions and Job Grading /
  • Compiling job descriptions for newly created positions together with line management
  • Grading and salary benchmarking of new / updated positions

HR Systems /
  • Management of E-Learning system
  • Develop, format and upload training material for E-learning system
  • Management of Recruitment System
  • Administer HR Intranet page

CB Way /
  • Update existing policies or develop new policies as and when required

Special Projects /
  • Complete special projects according to project timelines, as required by management

  • Allocate the necessary resources within the framework of the established priorities and time tables.
