Listed below are the abbreviations for names of Commonwealth universities and other degree-awarding institutions to be used in staff entries. Please note that these abbreviations are not necessarily the versions used by the individual institutions themselves. Wherever it is ACU practice to leave the name unabbreviated this has been indicated. Names of non-Commonwealth institutions should be given in full so that the institutions concerned may be identified (and abbreviated) by the ACU editors.
