Kindly note that tomorrow ( dtd. 19/1/13 ) there is grievance redressal cum interaction meeting in the office of GM ,RIC Rourkela at 11 AM.If you are interested either you may come in person for direct interaction or may send your problems in writing to our office today evening before 6 PM to accommodate your issues in the grievance through our office.
There was a meeting with Director Industries,Sri N.Palai,IAS,Govt. of Odisha on dated 16/1/2013 at 4 pm evening in our association hall for having direct interaction with our member units having problems which falls under policy & implementaion by Govt. for our local MSME's.The meeting covered issues related to WESCO ,IDCO transfer of shed & land allotment ,Pollution Board of Odisha which presently tries to cover even non polutant units like fabrication industries,Factory & Boiler Dept.for obtaining factory license at Rourkela,discussion on central MSME directive of 23rd March'12 for procurement policy to be adopted by Public Sector Undertakings,Rehabitation package to sick units ,uniform taxation in projects for encouraging local MSME's,Tech Fair by DSSIA in the 2nd week of April and a few other related issues raised by our members during the interaction meeting.The grievances were taken up seriously by the DI who has promised to take up the matter with concerned bodies immediately.If you have any such problem you may give letter to concerned Dept. with a copy to GM,RIC /DI for follow up action by the Govt.
Our association represented in the 54th PLAC of Rourkela Steel Plant on dated 16th Jan'13 which was conducted under the Chairmanship of CEO,RSP .The representation in the meeting were from all Sr. Executives of RSP ,Industries Association from state &local ,Director Industries & State Govt .The agenda points of our association was discussed in detail which is also available in our office for reference purpose.Some of our points were put for further review for acceptance by RSP.
We have received letter by our members for disconnection of power by WESCO arbitrarily converting fabrication unit into General Purpose thereby enhancing energy charges by Rs. 2/- per unit.Kindly write to SE,WESCO to stop this illegal disconnection and give a copy to GM,RIC to protect you from disconnection as discussed in the meeting on dtd.16/1/13.If still there is problem & it is not resolved ,association will move this to highest level and stop this illegal practice by WESCO.
Please don't hesitate to put your grievances to respective departments related to industries if injustice is done at any point with a copy to GM,RIC/DI & our associaton.
