1)Adopted the Board Agenda

Treasurer’s Recommendations

1)Approved amended minutes of the regular meeting held April 23, 2012.

2)Approved the minutes of the regular board meeting held June 14, 2012 and the special meeting held on June 22, 2012 as presented by the Treasurer.

3)Approved the financial report for the period ending June 30, 2012.

4)Approved to pay five (5) invoices to Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center due to non-compliance of the Ohio Revised Code section 5705.41 (D)(1).

5)Approved fund transfer as presented by the Treasurer.

6)Approved fund changes in accordance with the Uniform School Accounting System as presented by the Treasurer.

7)Approved to pay four (4) invoices to Health Care Billing Services, Inc. due to non-compliance of the Ohio Revised Code section 5705.41 (D)(1).

8)Approved to pay the Athletic Fund invoices to Green Shades Garden to non-compliance of the Ohio Revised Code section 5705.41 (D)(1).

Superintendent’s Recommendations

1)Approved a commendation to Geoff Gould for being instrumental in applying for and picking up excess computer equipment donated from the Department of Justice Bureau of Prisons.

2)Accepted the milk bid from Broughton Foods for the 2012-2013 school. Broughton Foods dairy products meet the federal guidelines for fat and sugar contents.

3)Accepted the bread bid from Heiner’s Bakery for the 2012-2013 school.

4)Approved the following school and district fees for the 2012-2013 school year:

Copier Fee - .25 cents per copy

Overdrawn Check Charge - $25.00

High School Art Fee - $10.00

5)Approved the agreement with the Village of Crooksville to use the building locker-room and showers in the Village Park for the 2012 football season.

6)Adopted the Classification, Work Hours, and Wage Schedule for the 2012-2013 school year.

7)Accepted the following licensed individuals’ resignations:

Shelly Sowers – Intermediate Teacher

Romola Hopkins, Ph.D. – School Psychologist

8)Accepted teacher, Fayebelle Cherry’s retirement effective July 31, 2012.

9)Approved to rehire primary principal, John Toeller with a three year administrator’s contract.

10)Awarded the following individuals with a one year limited teaching contract :

15)Approved volunteer, Jeromy Searls, after meeting all requirements to hold a pupil activity supervisor permit to volunteer for the volleyball program.

17)Accepted Scott Harper’s resignation as Jr. High Football Coach effective immediately.

18)Approved the superintendent to approach the Crooksville SchoolsBooster Organizations to facilitate the orientation of the concessions at the Village Park athletic field. This shall include the ability tonegotiate the payment and rental fee to the Athletic Association, as well as the possible employment of a concession manager. These funds shall be appropriated from either the 300 or 018 funds.
