Notes

  • The Home Team must make contact with the travelling team at least 72 – hours in advance of the fixture to confirm venue & other key information.
  • If teams do not fulfil fixtures on the dates shown, competition regulations will be enforced.
  • At U14, U16 and U18 level, any team unable to field 13 players within 30 minutes of the due throw in time will forfeit the game.
  • Teams to always play with the same number of players.
  • In the event of a draw at full time in any Championship match, extra time will be played to decide the winner. There will be no replays.
  • Wherever necessary, teams with equal numbers of points will be separated by, in order of priority: head to head results;

scoring difference;

highest score for.

  • Any request to change a date for a fixture must be forwarded to the CCC at least two weeks in advance of the proposed fixture.

Under 12 Football League

This year, we will commence this age group with two preliminary Blitzes. The results of the Blitzes will be scrutinised; the teams will be placed into two divisions and there will be two further Blitzes. There will also be the opportunity for emerging teams or B Teams to join the second division.

After the Blitzes have been completed there will be additional Tournaments in the programme:

-1916 Tournament on Saturday, 2nd April in Greenford.

-NLS Tournament on Saturday, 14th May in Tottenhall.

-Parnells Tournament on Sunday, 3rd July in Harrow Rugby Club.

  • Frees may not be taken any nearer to the goal than the last line of cones (15m for U8, 20m for U10, 25m for U12)
  • All players must stand at least 10m from any puck out, free puck or sideline
  • When a free is given, the player who is fouled must take it; if it is a technical foul then the free must be taken by the nearest player
  • When a foul is committed the sliotar must be immediately handed to the player taking the free; if it is not then the free is advanced 5m. The same rule applies if a player complains or argues with the referee. Players are, however, entitled to ask what they have done wrong and referees should explain why they give frees so as to help players develop their understanding of the rules
  • Sidelines are taken by the nearest player

Go Games Hurling

At each blitz every team will play each other on a round robin basis. Changes may be made to player numbers, pitch size and the duration of matches to allow for maximum participation for all players.

U14 Competitions

The focus in May & June will be the selection of the Feile Team

GAELIC ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION

LONDON YOUTH COMMITTEE: REGULATIONS 2016

  1. County Youth Committee Meetings shall be held on the third Monday of each month and shall as far as possible, be arranged so as to avoid clashing with Senior Board meetings. Meeting will start at 8.30pm and finish at 10.30pm.
  2. Each Club will be entitled to one delegate at Youth Committee Meetings.
  3. Clubs shall submit the names of their Officers and Board Delegates to the Youth Committee Secretary by the second meeting of the year.
  4. County team managers will be selected through the Coaching and Games Committee.
  5. County training will be decided by the management team to suit the needs and requirements of the team.
  6. Clubs will be given sufficient notice when players are selected for county teams. To ensure good practise this should be no less than six days.
  7. Eligibility to compete as per the Official Guide.
  8. As per London Bye Laws & Regulations. The following needs to be included at Youth level.

XII – Youth Player Registration (a) For a youth player to be eligible to compete for a club in any competitive fixture, the Youth Registrar must receive written details of the player’s registration at least 3 days before the fixture. Registrations should be completed in duplicate showing the following: - Club, Player Given Name at Birth, Address, Date of Birth, and must be signed by both the player and the parent/guardian. Registration forms must be accompanied by two recent passport sized photographs of the player and an original birth certificate (b) each player must also be registered online each year with Croke Park prior to participation in fixtures (c) On completion of registration, the Registrar will provide the club with a signed, embossed photo registration card in a permanently sealed transparent envelope. Registration cards for all competing players must be available on the day of the match so that they can be checked before the commencement of the game. Players for whom cards cannot be produced must provide (i) An Official Registrar’s Receipt and original ID

  1. On completion of registration, the Registrar will provide the club with an Official London Youth Registration card. Registration cards for all competing players must be available on the day prior to any game commencing.

PENALTY FOR NON-COMPLIANCE = LOSS OF MATCH.

  1. Affiliation will be set at the first meeting of the year.
  2. Club Assisting is only allowed at Minor and U21 level at any other ages is against the Official Guide. When a club is unable to affiliate a team at a particular age group, it is permissible for players from that club to link with another club at that age group. This is provided that prior sanction has been obtained from the London Youth Committee no later than the end of April. All players assisting other clubs will be documented with access for all clubs to view.
  3. A Youth Competition control Committee will be appointed by the Youth Committee to decide on all matters relating to fixtures, venues and referees. Decisions made by this Committee will be binding to all clubs. The Committee will appoint one from within its rank to act as Fixtures Secretary, who will be responsible for maintaining an up to date record of all fixtures and results of matches. The Fixtures Secretary will have sole charge of notifying clubs of fixtures. Fixtures – including details of venues and referees – will be made in advance of Youth meetings. Once a fixture is made and ratified by the Board, no changes or postponements will be allowed except in exceptional circumstances.
  4. Referees are to be organised in conjunction with the Chairman of the Adult CCC and the Youth CCC.
  5. As per regulation 3 of the London Bye Laws and Regulations a register must be maintained and audited each year by the Chairman of the Youth CCC. This will include cups, trophies and items held by clubs to ensure the safe keeping and maintenance of GAA memorabilia.
  6. A minimum of 12 Youth games are to be played in Ruislip which will include all Championship finals. (Exceptions will be made during the planned reconstruction of the pitch).

COMPETITION REGULATIONS: Amended November 2013

  1. Except where the number of participating clubs at the age group is insufficient to make it practicable, clubs shall not be required to participate in a Championship fixture before they have had the opportunity to play at least two league games.
  2. Where necessary, extra time will be played to decide the outcome of matches at knockout stages in League and Championship at all age groups.
  3. In the event that the pitch at the nominated venue is unfit for play, both clubs must cooperate in arranging for the match to be moved to an alternative location.
  4. The restart following a score or a wide in football at U10, U12 and U14 level only, may be taken by the defending player kicking the ball out of the hand.
  5. Postponement of a club fixture on the grounds of players on duty with the CountyTeam will only be agreed where the County fixture requires the release of at least two players from any one club that would otherwise be selected for the club fixture.
  6. No postponement of an U16 fixture shall be granted on the grounds of the club’s involvement in a Senior Board fixture on the same day.
  7. Neutral referees shall be appointed for all Youth CCC. Referees to be paid travelling expenses of £20 this will be met equally by the participating clubs. If the appointed neutral referee fails to attend then the travelling team shall appoint a referee.
  8. The outline format and arrangements for all underage competitions will be agreed by the Youth Committee. A master fixtures list for all football and hurling league competitions will be approved by the Youth Committee at the start of each season. The management of the fixtures programme, including arrangement of championship matches, will be in accordance with Regulation 13.
  9. In the event of the appointed referee failing to attend a properly sanctioned fixture resulting in no neutral referee being available, the opposing team shall appoint a referee who must submit a written report of the circumstances to the Secretary of the Youth CCC within 7 days of the date set for the fixtures.
  10. The penalty for failing to field for a properly sanctioned fixture without justified cause (which it will be for the Minor Board alone to determine) shall be:
