I.The Price of the Redeemed (Isaiah 52:3)

For this is what the Lord says: “You were sold for nothing, and without money you will be redeemed.”

A.There is no amount of money that can buy the love of the Lord.

1)“You have sold yourselves for nothing”—NKJV

2)Isaiah 63:9

In all their distress he too was distressed, and the angel of his presence saved them. In his love and mercy he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried themall the days of old.

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion,“Your God reigns!”

A.When God sets us free we have an obligation to tell others the way.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy . . . He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their chains in pieces. (NKJV)

III.The Song of the Redeemed (Isaiah 52:9)

Burst into songs of joy together, you ruins of Jerusalem, for the Lord has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem.

A.There is power in the worship of people who have been redeemed.

Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away. (KJV)

B.There is a song that only the redeemed know how to sing.

And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.

Isaiah 43:1
