  • Review status of goals that were established in the initial certification application
  • Articulate if any changes were made to the original goals and why. What is the status of these revised goals?
  • Do you feel the goals–either as initially written or modified–were achieved?

Self-Assessment / Complete a narrative self-assessment that describes your current practice in the certification area and how you envision the practice area changing in the future.
Professional Development Plan (PDP) / Choose any 3 criteria and establish professional development goals for them to be addressed in the next 5 years.

  • Applicant must address 5 of the 13criteria (in addition to #14 – Ethical Practice, which is mandatory), by choosing one (1) available option for each.
  • Please note that the term “ensuring” can refer to direct service delivery or the supervision or teaching of others.
  • Renewal certification should demonstrate an increase in professional development from initial certification.
