Overall Job Purpose /
- To design, implement and ensure the constant integrity of all IT related customer solutions delivered by the organisation.
- To take responsibility for developing and maintaining the organisation’s technical architecture framework, principles and roadmap.
- Administration of cloud based software solutions and onsite maintenance of hardware devices.
Key Accountabilities / •Maintaining the technical infrastructure design.
•Liaising extensively with external or internal service providers.
•Translating user requirements into highly specified technical project briefs.
•Identifying options for potential technical solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability.
•Drawing up specific proposals for modified or replacement systems.
•Producing project feasibility reports and presenting proposals to users and decision makers.
•Working with developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
•Drawing up testing schedules for the new systems.
•Overseeing the implementation of any new systems.
•Writing user manuals and providing training to users of a new system.
•Keeping up to date with technical and industry developments.
•Ensuring that new systems proposal are subjected to the appropriate governance and approval process.
•Working as IT /data technical adviser with product development and customer delivery project managers for new product/service releases.
- Working with external IT service provider to deliver patch management via SCCM to all our servers, laptops and workstations (Windows & Macs)
- Provide network support for wired and wireless devices.
- Manage, support and upgraded the Audio Visual equipment in all meeting rooms.
Essential Requirements / •Deep understanding of relevant systems architecture and networks.
•A hands-on ability to offer support, long-term workable solutions and act as an internal technology consultant.
•Strong project management and delivery focus and skillset.
•Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
•Good knowledge of latest software application and service technologies, platforms and infrastructure.
•Solid CRM and CMS database knowledge.
•MS and Apple certified with a background in critical office IT and network environments.
- An understanding of the Office 365 services and applications. Specifically; Exchange online, SharePoint Online, Azure AD and OneDrive.
- Understanding of ITIL, including incident management, change management and configuration management
