LOCATION: Winnequah Gun Club is approximately three miles north of Lodi, WI. Take I-90/94 West to Exit 115; turn right onto County Road CS (0.2 mile); turn left at County Road J (1.1 mile); turn right at County Road J at the T in the road (3.3 mile). Look for Winnequah Gun Club sign and Indoor Range on your left. Go through the gate and past the building. Follow the new road to the High Power Rifle Stat Office. The club address is: W10219 Larson Dr, Lodi WI 53555. More information is on the club web site. Camping is permitted.
RULES: Current NRA High Power Rifle Long Range and F Class Long Range Prone classification rules will apply. Empty chamber indicators (Rule 3.21) will be available at the range and MUST be used by all competitors.
SAFETY: For the safety of the pit crew, a competitor who fails to get on target in TEN SHOTS may be directed to stop firing. For purposes of this rule, an oblong hole from a ricochet does NOT count as a hit. All sighting shots must be scored on back of score card! Bolts cannot be closed until the rifle is shouldered and pointed towards the target.
ELIGIBILITY: NRA membership is no longer required for people to compete in NRA tournaments. Competitors must be an NRA member to set a NRA National Record. To be eligible for a State Champion Trophy Wisconsin residents must be a current member of Wisconsin-FORCE. If not a current member, forms will be available and must be filled out before the match begins. Juniors must also be a current member of Wisconsin-FORCE or an NRA affiliated club. Residents of other states must be members of their home state association.
EQUIPMENT:
- Palma® Match – Palma® Rifle or Match Rifle, chambered for the unmodified .308. Sights: metallic only-Rule 3.7(a)(1), and 3.7(a)(2).
- Service Rifle – Rule 3.1, 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.1.3 (includes .223 Rem)
- 1,000 yd – Any safe Centerfire Rifle or Service Rifle. Muzzle brakes not allowed. Any safe ammunition. Match 6, IRON SIGHTS must meet NRA Rule 3.7(a)(1) noncorrective or Rule 3.7(a)(2) corrective requirements. Match 7, ANY SIGHTS, Rule 3.7(c).
- “F” Class – See Rule 3.4.1 in NRA High Power Rifle Rules, Section 22.
- “F” Class – Bench Rest. Shoot from bench rest only; you must stay in this category for all matches.
- AROS – Any Rifle, Optic, Sling: separate category from “F” class: NO sandbags, other rests or muzzle brakes allowed. If shooting in the AROS category, you must stay in this category for all matches.
ENTRIES: Individual entries will be made by using the enclosed entry form accompanied by a check or money order. Be sure to indicate your correct NRA Long Range Prone or F Class Long Range Prone classification. Unclassified competitors will compete in the Master Class. Rule 19.6-Assigned Classification, or 19.2-Temporary Classification, may be used in making entry. IF YOU ARE NOT CHECKED IN AT THE STAT OFFICE 30 MINUTES BEFORE FIRING TIME, YOUR SPOT WILL BE GIVEN TO A PERSON ON THE WAITING LIST. Mail individual entry form with correct fees to:

Individual match entries will be accepted up to capacity of the range (112 Saturday), (112 Sunday). Confirmations will be sent by email. Any entries received after June 18will be considered late entries and charged a late entry fee. WISCONSIN RESIDENTS WILL HAVE PREFERENCE UNTIL JUNE 15, 2015. If you cannot attend the match, please notify me immediately.

TARGETS:
Long range targets will be used at 800, 900, 1000 yd.
“F” Class targets will be used at 800, 900, 1000 yd – LR-FC.
SQUADDING: All matches will be squadded. Squadding cards for individual matches will be issued from the Statistical Office. Competitors must report to the Stat Office before firing each day. NRA Long Range Prone and F Class Long Range Prone classification cards must be shown before squadding is issued. A competitor who fails to present himself/herself at the proper firing point when his/her relay is called may lose his/her right to compete in that event.
COURSE OF FIRE: (competitors will score and pull targets) The NRA High Power Rifle Long Range Prone scoring system will be used (Rule 14.18(a). Sample cards will be given at registration.

Match 1:Palma®, 800 yd, unlimited sighters, 15 shots for record, total time of 22 minutes.
Match 2:Palma®, 900 yd, 2 sighters, 15 shots for record, total time of 22 minutes.
Match 3:Palma®, 1,000 yd, 2 sighters, 15 shots for record, total time of 22 minutes.
Match 4:Aggregate of Stages 1,2,3 (Herb “Doc” Aitken trophy).
Match 5:1200 yd, unlimited sighters, 15 shots for record, total time of 25 minutes. (not included in Grand Aggregate)
Sunday, June 28 (If weather conditions cause poor visibility, the Range Officer may decide to shoot Any Rifle Any Sight first.)
Match 6:1,000 yd, unlimited sighters, 20 shots for record, Any Rifle, Iron Sights, total time of 30 minutes.
Match 7:1,000 yd, unlimited sighters, 20 shots for record, Any Rifle, Any Sights, total time of 30 minutes.
Match 8:Any Rifle Aggregate of Matches 6 & 7, Sunday only (trophy)
Match 9:Grand Aggregate of Matches 4 & 8 (State Long Range Individual Championship).
CATEGORIES AND CLASSES: Separate class and aggregate awards will be given for civilian service rifle and service rifle if there are more than 5 competitors in each category. There will be no separate categories in the Match Rifle Division. 1st, 2nd, 3rd place awards will be given only if there are 5, 10, 15 or more competitors in a given match and class. If there are fewer than 5 High Masters entered, they must fire for open awards only. High Master Class may not be combined with the Master Class. If there are fewer than 5 entries in a class for awards, they will be combined with the same class in another category. If there are still fewer than 5 entries after combining all categories, there will be NO AWARDS in that class, and all competitors in the lower class will be moved back to their respective category in the next higher class, until there are a minimum of 5 competitors in the combined class.
Sunday Matches Only: Separate aggregate awards will be given for competitors using a Palma® rifle if there are more than 5 competitors in each class. A special award will be given to the Palma® High Individual in the aggregate.
“F” CLASS COMPETITORS: All individual events are open to participation by F-Class competitors. Awards in the F-Class will be made based upon the number of F-Class competitors in the match. A cash prize will be awarded to the highest F-Class competitor, provided there are five (5) or more F-Class competitors entered in Open, TR and Bench Rest.
“AROS” – ANY RIFLE OPTIC SLING: A cash prize will be awarded to the highest AROS competitor provided five (5) or more competitors are entered. AROS competitors will compete only among themselves and ARE NOT eligible for Overall or Class awards in the matches.
In addition to the above awards the High Wisconsin Resident in each of the following will receive a traveling trophy:

- Wisconsin-FORCE Gold medals will be given to the high score in each class regardless of entries
An appropriate award will be given to the High Junior, High Senior, and High Grand Senior. A special award will be given to the High Service Rifle competitor in Matches 4, 8 and 9 provided that 5 or more Service Rifles are used in each match. Service Rifle shooters will not be classed for purposes of this award. In the event a nonresident is the Match Winner, he or she will receive an award but cannot be declared the High State Resident for that class.
