ASGA, CINCINNATI CHAPTER: POLICY DECISIONS
All policy decisions made by the Board of ASGA Cincinnati will be posted to MeetUp.com in the “Files” section and will be accessible to all members. This is being done to minimize confusion about certain club policies / practices.
SEPTEMBER, 2013
I.
SUPPORT OF CHARITY GOLF OUTINGS, ETC.: The Board decided that it we will no longer support or sponsor any charity golf outings or other charities. If individual members wish to do so, they may. We will, however, continue to ask members to contribute, of their own volition, to Adopt A Family, a Christmas gifting effort through Butler County Children’s Services.
II.
RETURNING MEMBERS / GUESTING AT OUTINGS: The Board decided that once a member has dropped out of Cincinnati ASGA, he or she cannot be a guest at two outings as a non-member. S/he must re-join the group.
Credit for Cancellations / No-Shows:
A) The Board ruled that if a member cancels after paying for an outing, we will offer them not a refund, but a credit toward a future outing -- butonly if there is no monetary loss to the Chapter. If a golf course refuses to refund the member’s greens fees to the Chapter, then the Chapter will be under no obligation to issue a credit to the member.
B) At the end of the season, credits for outings missed will be carried over to the following season. If the member should quit the Chapter, then s/he will forfeit that credit.
C)If a member fails to show up for an outing, s/he will not receivecredit for payment for that outing.
III.
REIMBURSEMENT FOR PARTY FOOD / SUPPLIES: We will cap reimbursement to members who host post-round parties and other entertainments at their homes to $50.00.

JUNE, 2014
GUEST POLICY FOR RETURNING MEMBERS: If an individual has let her/his membership lapse for more than 5 years, s/he shall be considered a "new" member for the purpose of guesting at one Chapter outing, after which s/he shall be required to pay annual dues in full.
