Blowing Rock, N.C. (February 27, 2018)-- Tweetsie Railroad will celebrate its 61st year of Wild West family fun in 2018, and guests can save on a full season of excitement at the theme park by taking advantage of early pricing on 2018 Season Passes. From now through April 15, Golden Rail Season Passes are on sale at a pre-season rate of $100 for adults and$65 for children ages 3 through 12. After April 15, prices increase to $110 for adults and $75 for children. Children 2 and under are always admitted free. Guests can purchase or renew 2018 Season Passes online at Tweetsie.com.
Opening day for 2018 is April 6th, with daytime operations continuing through October 28. The theme park’s 2018 season will offer all the fun and excitement that have made it into a treasured North Carolina tradition for generations, along with new events for 2018 that both returning and first-time guests are sure to love.
Special events for the whole family are planned for 2018 at Tweetsie Railroad, including Day Out With Thomas™, the July Fourth Fireworks Extravaganza, K-9s In Flight Frisbee® Dogs and Ghost Train®. For the second year, Tweetsie Railroad will extend its nighttime operations on Friday and Saturday evenings from November 23 through December 29 when guests can celebrate the joy of the holidays during Tweetsie Christmas.
Throughout the season at Tweetsie Railroad,guests will experience WildWest adventure when they hop aboard a trainpulled by one of Tweetsie Railroad’s historicsteam locomotives. Visitors can also explore the theme park’s authentic Western town, enjoy amusement rides, take in live entertainment, pan for gold, and visit the animals at the Deer Park Zoo.
