The below rates are based on weekly consolidation service from our depot in Los Angeles CA to Sydney, Melbourne, & Brisbane.

Rate Exclusions
*Import duties & Taxes if applicable
*Quarantine cleaning & re-attendance if applicable
*Import Permits *We can only handle Pre 1989 & trailer imports if required
*Insurance over AUD 30,000 per consignment. Additional AUD 100 per AUD 20,000
*Customs entry fee: currently AUD 65.00 if the total clearance value is under AUD 10,000.00, or AUD 167.60 if the value is over AUD 10,000.00 (note that the Import Exchange conversion rates are decided by Australian Customs)
*Luxury Car Tax (if applicable, which is the CIF Value + Duty + GST minus AUD 60,316.00 x 33%, and this only applies to passenger vehicles, not commercial vehicles)
*Compliance (To check if your vehicles can be complied CLICK HERE . Please note this list does not include vehicles made before 1989 because they can all be complied)
*FOB charges from the suppliers door to the American port of export, but note that most suppliers pay for these costs as part of the purchase price of the vehicles and give you an “FOB price” per vehicle
*Air conditioning. There is 4 options available
1. Low volume exemption is available private importers shipping no more than one vehicle per 2 year period
2. De-gassing. The suppliers can organise the degassing, otherwise we can organise it for you for an extra fee
3. Import permit which costs approximately $405 which allows you to keep the gas in the air-conditioning unit as long as the gas is not one of the forbidden gases not allowed to enter Australia. You apply for the this through the department of sustainability or we can apply for you for additional $50 fee.
4. Regular importers can apply for a gas license through the department of sustainability This requires a quarterly report of imports and is cost effective once you import more than 5 vehicles per year.
