5th Annual Triangle Youth Leadership Conference

Workshop Presentation Proposal

The purpose of the Triangle Youth Leadership Conference is to motivate and empower participants to create positive change in their community. To accomplish this purpose, the conference brings together high school students from across the state of North Carolina for a two-day curriculum that places them in teams and challenges each participant tackle real-life community issues. Of this two-day curriculum, workshop presentations are a crucial component.

The pillars of Triangle Youth Leadership Services (the organization that hosts the conference) are diversity, development and social responsibility as we believe these three are fundamental to leadership and to making a change in one's community. We attempt to integrate these pillars into our conference each year and emphasize them consistently, specifically through the workshop presentations.
