April-May-June
Focus: Courage
Quote:
It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power. —Alan Cohen

Prayer
Holy ones of all ages and every wisdom path,
Bless us as we ask for courage while walking ways that seem to change beneath our feet.
Empower us to remember that courage is not only bravery; courage can be
Just keeping on when we feel fear, uncertainty, or just that we can’t handle what we’re faced with.
Help us to know that courage comes from the heart; it comes with age, wisdom,
Knowing that if we’ve faced hard times before we can again, and prevail.
Through you, Holy ones, courage finds strength within and sends it out to our planet, to all humankind:
That every being can face adversity with grace, dignity, integrity.
Holy ones of all ages and every wisdom path,
Empower us to think without fear, and do what is necessary for the wellbeing of all the earth.

Focus: Gratitude
Quote:
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity.... It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow. —Melodie Beattie
