Assignment Checklist
In order to receive full credit for this interview you must include all the following items in a folder to turn in on the designated day. Check off items as you complete them and include them in the folder.
____1. Tape or recording of the interview, properly labeled
____2. Questions you asked the interviewee with answers in typed form.
____3. Thank you note to interviewee – signed, addressed, stamped, but not sealed!
____4. Typed written paper in which you analyze this interview and discuss the results. Apply as an appendix to the vision paper.
Suggested List of Questions- (adapted for those interested in entering the education field)
(Suggested interview time is at least 30 min. Add your own questions to this list or remove ones you do not like.)
List all the questions that will be asked and submit to the administrator for review prior to the interview. The administrator must sign off on your list of questions as proof that he approved the questions. Any questions listed after the administrators approval must be resubmitted for a new signature.

- Describe the classroom you remember best.
- Describe a typical day in your teaching career.
- Describe your relationship with the administrators you worked for. What was their job like?
- Describe a student(s) you remember.
- How was your curriculum (course of study) developed?
- How far did your paycheck go?
- Describe any extracurricular activities you were involved in as part of your school day.
- Think of an historical even that happened during your teaching career—what was school like that day or around that? (Ex. September 11th , shuttle challenger blowing up)
- What were some of the most trying situations in your career?
- When did you feel successful? Describe a successful event in your career.
- Describe the best aspect if the teaching profession. What are its most challenging aspects?
