Job Title: Financial Fitness Project Administrator
Home-Start Medway
Location: Gillingham
Hours of work: 25 hours per week (Mondayto Friday)
Salary: £16,458 per annumpro rata
Responsible to: Financial Fitness Programme Coordinator
Purposes of the job:
- To provide specialised administrative support to the Financial Fitness project to enable development and expansion of the project.
- To provide general administrative support across Home-Start Medway as required.
Main Responsibilities:
- To support the Financial Fitness Coordinator by being the first point of contact for new referrals for families requiring support.
- Offering a triage service to establish main issuesfrom referrals.
- To ensure the effectiveness of the Financial Fitness Project at Home-Start Medway through efficient administration.
- To arrange volunteer rotas and pass on referrals / book appointments?
- Maintain records for statistical information, monitoring and evaluation to report on outcomes using paper based and IT systems.
- To contribute to the effective day to day operation of the scheme in accordance with Home-Start Governing documents, standards and methods of Practice, Home-Start Agreement and Quality Assurance Standards
- Carry out general office duties including photocopying, filing, mailing and use of communication systems.
- Provide support to assist in the recruitment and support of volunteers
- Assisting with public (multiagency) meetingsas required
- Contribute to the development of Home-Start locally, regionally and nationally.
- To work with Home-Start’s Equality, Fairness & Diversity, Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Confidentiality policies
- To undertake any duties that fall within the nature of the role and responsibilities of the post as detailed above
- To have a flexible approach in working as part of a team
- This job may involve some evening and weekend working
The Home-Start Medway office and Administration Coordinator is expected to work within the ethos of Home-Start and have high standards of practice. The need to respect confidentiality is paramount, as is a mature and flexible approach to the work.

ESSENTIAL
Education and qualifications:
Good standard of education (GCSE, NVQ level 3 or equivalent)
Relevant IT skills and Administrative/Project Management experience.
Employment history:
Relevant previous or current employment or voluntary work.
Project and Administrative experience:
IT skills and experience includingMicrosoft Office
Experience of creating and maintaining filing systems and data bases
Effective communication skill, written, verbal and telephone
High standards of practice and presentation work
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to collate and process information
Ability to prepare reports and statistical information
Good inter-personal skills
Good organisational skills
