MAIN EVENT - Friday evening, November 13 - Sunday afternoon, November 15
REGISTRATION FEE: Division A- $80; all others $70 (if postmarked after 11/3/09 – add $15)

15 rated games, computer paired with John Chew’s tsh program, modified Fontes Swiss style
Div A - 1700 and above, Div B - 1699-1400, Div C - 1399-1000, Div D - under 999. Play-ups allowed*
SCHEDULE
Friday - 11:30 AM Early Bird/NAST registration. Noon - 5 rounds and awards ceremony, with no breaks
Friday Evening - 7:00 PM Main Event registration. 8:00 P.M. - 3 rounds
Saturday - 9:00 AM - 8 rounds, with a lunch break after round 4
7:00 PM - Dinner
8:30 PM - Trivia contest presented by Bruce Adams*
Sunday - 9:00 AM - 4 rounds, awards ceremony to follow
Clocks may be started if a player is excessively late for any round.

Package includes 2 nights, plus Saturday dinner, all taxes, and dinner gratuities (but not sleeping room tips).

Players rated within 100 points of division cutoffs may play up on request and at directors’ discretion.
Seedings for both events will be based on November 11, 2009 ratings, as posted on www.cross-tables.com.
EQUIPMENT
Please bring deluxe boards, timers, and competitive tiles. Do not set up your equipment unless you are willing to
leave it where it is until the next break. Be sure to mark all your equipment with identification labels.

Bruce Adams will present his wildly popular and hilarious trivia show one more time, testing our knowledge of
sports, entertainment, general knowledge, and, of course, Scrabble.
Limited to 16 contestants. Pay Bruce $10 at the event.

From Burlington: Take I-89 north to Exit 15. Turn right onto Rt. 15 (Pearl Street) for about 2 miles.
Turn left on Susie Wilson Road, and follow for 2 miles. It ends at VT-289 East.
Take VT-289 East to Exit 10. Turn right. The Inn is a quarter-mile on the left.
From the South - Boston: Take I-93 North to I-89 North through New Hampshire and into Vermont.
Take Exit 11 (Richmond) in Vermont. Turn right, and then immediately right again on Rt. 117 West,
6 miles to Rt. 289 West. Exit 10, Essex Way, turn left. The Inn is a quarter-mile on the left.
