Thank you for your e-maildated 22 April, which we received on 15 December 2009.
You are entitled under section 1 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to know whether the Council holds the information requested and if so, to have that information communicated to you if no exceptions apply. I must point out that what you are entitled to is the information contained in a document, rather than a copy of that document, although very often the easiest way to provide the information may be to copy it.

1)How many allotment sites are there in Ryedale for which the Council has access to waiting list data?
The Council has no allotments and does not have access to any waiting lists for allotments held by Town or Parish Councils within Ryedale District.
2)What is the total number of plots on these sites?
Not known as the council has no information, see item 1 above.
3)What is the total number of people on waiting lists for these sites?
Not known as the Council has no information, see item 1 above.
4)Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?
Not known as the Council has no information, see item 1 above.
5) How many new council allotment sites were brought into use in 2010? Please give:
a) number of new sites
b) names of new sites
c) total area of new land in hectares
d) total number of new plots
