Insurance:AllvolunteersfromEUCountriesmustbringaEuropeanHealthInsuranceCardorequivalent;non-EUresidentsmusttakeoutpersonalmedicalinsuranceincasemedicalassistanceisrequired.WealsoadviseallvolunteerstotakeouttravelinsurancetocoveryourstayatSunseed.

Disabilities:Therearemanystepsandclimbs.Wewilldoallwecantoprovidefacilitiesforeveryonebutsufficientmobilityisessentialtojoinfully.(Withawheelchairyouwouldneedafull-timehelper). Ifindoubtpleaseask.Visitorssuchasseniorcitizensorthoserecoveringfromillnessmaybeunableto do verymuch,butthereisalwayslight tasks.Pleaseask.Concessionsapplyforpeopleinreceiptofdisabilityallowance.

Children:16-17yearoldsneedtheirguardian’sconsentandareferenceabouttheirmaturity.Thoseunder16needaparent/guardiantoaccompanythem.Thesitecanbedangerousforchildrenduetosomeunfencedterraces,etc.soparents/guardiansareresponsiblefortheirchildren’ssafety.

Reductions:Childrenqualifyfordiscounts.Childrenaged0-4comeforfree;5-12sdonateone-halfguardian’srate; 12 and above donate full rates.

Timing:ItisbesttoarriveindaylighthourstoallowformakingthebusconnectionstoSorbas.

Deposit:A100€ deposit is required to reserve your place as a volunteer. This is then subtracted from the total cost of your stay.

Refunds:Ifafterarrivalvolunteersdecidetodepartpriortotheirdeparturedate, please contact the Facilitation Coordinator.

Internet:Wireless internetconnectionisavailable in one building atSunseed. Laptops are sometimes available for volunteer use; however, staff work and research always takes priorty. You may bring your own electronic device for personal use if you like, however, due to our limited clean electricity supplies, charging may not always be available. Sunseed discourages the use of social media such as Facebook, and due to bandwidth constraints, prohibits the downloading of films and music.

Extendedstay:Wewillbehappyforyoutoextendyourstayifwearenotfullybooked.Ifpossibleaskthe Facilitation Coordinator wellbeforeyouareduetoleave,donatinginadvancethefullamount.
