Scholarship Application
Based on fund raising success at least one $500 - $1000 scholarship will be awarded from the WSRRA to a deserving agriculture or rodeo affiliated High School or college student with agriculture in their background or in their career studies.
The Scholarship recipientcan use the award for undergraduate or graduate educational expenses at an institution of higher learning. An institution of higher learning is defined as one that may only be attended upon receipt of a high school diploma or its equivalent. This includes colleges, universities, junior or community colleges offering an Associate degree, and trade schools providing education in a field leading to permanent employment.
Eligibility Requirements:
1. Be a current senior in high school progressing satisfactorily toward graduation or a current full time college student (12 hours per quarter/semester).
2. Have a 3.0 or higher accumulative GPA.
3. Be an active WSRRA member, dependent of an active WSRRA member, or a current member of a College orHigh School Rodeo Program.

General Information
The Scholarship will be announced during the WSRRA National Finals and available to download from the WSRRA web site. Deadline will be December 31st and the Scholarship will be awarded in January for 2017 school year.
The WSRRA Scholarship Committee will hold all information in strictest confidence. All applications and supporting materials become the property of the WSRRA and cannot be returned.
Scholarship winner will be required to submit a letter of acceptance or enrollment from their chosen college or university before funds will be released.
Applicants must includea current copy of high school or college transcripts with scholarship application.
