Online Registration Info for Coaches, Parents and Students
Port Moody has entered an agreement along with many schools in District 43 with a company called Karelo.com to facilitate online registration and payment of fees for Athletic teams. This system is aimed at streamlining the process for parents to pay fees and give consent for their children to play school sports. The procedure outlined in this document must be completed in order for a student to play Junior Varsity or Varsity sports at Port Moody Secondary.
All payments of fees include the base level cost of each specific sport. Base costs are those fees used to pay for league structures and administration costs, officials, entry to some tournaments, some transportation where deemed necessary by the coach, and for equipment and uniform upkeep. These fees do not cover 100% of the costs associated with athletics at Port Moody, as such, the school often uses a portion of its yearly budget to make up these short falls. Coaches may offer additional items such as t-shirts or trips that are optional for students to pay for seperately. If, in any event, it is not possible to complete the payment procedure with a credit card, it is still necessary to complete the online registration. Parents should contact the Athletic Director at the numbers or email above to discuss alternatives to credit card payment.

Online Registration Procedures:
1. Go to www.pmssblues.net which is our public website for the school
2. Click on the Athletic Teams Registration banner in yellow and blue.
3. Read the information on this page and then click Sign Up Now. IF YOU HAVE USED THIS SYSTEM BEFORE FOR Port moody or any other organization you can use you account that you previously created.
4. Follow the instructions on creating an account for first time users if you do not already have an account. Pay attention to the information it is asking you for “parents” or “student”.
5. The registration system will prompt you in red if mistakes are made. Please ensure that correct email contact information is provided for parents and students as we will use this to contact you in for future events that are of interest such as the Athletics Banquet.
6. If you are unable to complete the payment with a credit card, complete the process until the payment page and then log out. If you log out before the payment page you will not be registered. Contact the Athletic Director using the numbers or email at the top of this document to discuss methods of payment. If you do not contact the Athletic Director you will not be registered. YOU MUST COMPLETE THE PROCESS to be registered!
7. If a student-athlete is not registered by the end of the first week of competition the team will be ruled ineligible and BCSS will fine our school, and forfeit all competition entered by the team. It is the student-athlete and parent/guardian responsibility to live up to this commitment.
