Director of Administration and Development
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Director of Administrationand Development is responsible for the direction and oversight of the Administration and Development activities for PWAC. This includes direct supervision of administrativestaff, interns, and volunteer staff.

Exclusionary Review (LEIE)
Staff Training activitiesSafety activities
Human Resource operations Public Relations and Fundraising
Policy development Clearances (33, 34, FBI)
- Supervisory Duties
Supervisory duties include oversight ofadministrative staff, interns, and volunteers.
The Director of Administration and Development is responsible for the recruitment and management of volunteers on an as needed basis to help with special functions supporting PWAC. Director responsible for assuring all legal clearances are received, reviewed, and tracked for: administrative staff, interns and volunteers.
- Functional Duties
Develops and implements, in collaboration with VP of Programs and Compliance, training materials for staff and oversees and tracks staff training time, schedules outside trainers as needed for annual training day(s).
Serves as agency safety coordinator and as representative on worker’s comp Claims and Risk Committee. Attends safety meetings on monthly basis, prepares OSHA 300 information.
As Human Resource coordinator ensures that orientation is completed for new staff members, that enrollment in applicable benefit options is complete, requests clearances for Act 33/34, MVR, etc. tracks earned time, prepares and maintains personnel files. Reviews various materials relating to hiring practices to ensure regulations are followed.Prepares help wanted information and advertises in outside venues, schedules interviews, performs needed background checks on potential hires, tracks resume and application submissions, checks references, makes job offers as appropriate, assures that all pre-hire information is gathered scheduled, and tracked. Assures that PWAC is following all federal and state regulations in regards to employees.
Works with other management staff as needed to develop required, or requested policies/procedures, checklists or other materials relating to federal and state regulations, OSHA safety regulations, etc.
Responsible for preparing newsreleases,the PWAC newsletter, speech information, annual campaign information. Attends various community functions to discuss PWAC services. Responsible for attending Board of Director meetings monthly and keeping the board minutes as well as submitting the minutes for the board’s approval within a week of the board meeting being held. Sits as a member of the BOD Fundraising Committee. May be asked to participate in outside fundraising events and the planning of these events. Sits on Activities committee and tracks fundraising efforts to support events the Activities committee coordinates.
Development Duties include but not limited to: Prepares materials including grant proposals, annual campaign information, fundraising projects, and then tracks incoming donations, prepare acknowledgments, etc. Seek out new funding sources for PWAC. Grant preparation is expected and may be in conjunction with the CEO and other management personnel as needed.
Is knowledgeable in programs that PWAC offers and can assist if needed in a program area.

Attendance at meetings as appropriate or needed which may include evening, weekend, or overnight.
Abides by rules, governing regulations, program regulations including but not limited to 2390, 2380, 5100, monitoring, etc., confidentiality and privacy regulations as well as the code of ethics of the agency.
All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 5 years’ management experience with a Non-Profit or similar setting.
Minimum 2 years of oversight of Human Resource Activities including monitoring of training, time off, staff educational requirements, etc.
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a trainer applicable to Office of Developmental Program requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience fundraising
Grant writing experience appreciated, or ability to attend Grant Writing classes within 6 months of hire.
Strong Computer skills, including experience with an electronic payroll system
Full Time M-F (8:30am-4:00p)
