Include only specifically required information in your application. Three hard copies of your application must be provided. Hard copies are to be unbound, printed single sided and must not exceed a total of 100 pages.

Please note that no commitment to fund your project can be assumed.

IISC grant funding is from a limited funding pool. It is a competitive, merit based application process and the funding of projects is at the discretion of the Education and Training Directorate. Meeting the assessment criteria does not guarantee funding.

2.1  Project description

Provide details of the project you are proposing and describe how you plan to use the funding.

NOTE:

1. Where relevant, professional drawings or floor plans for construction or refurbishment projects must be attached.

2. Where applicants propose to refurbish existing buildings the applicant must provide ownership details of the premises, evidence of permission for the project from the building owner and where the building is leased, a copy of the lease.

3. Applicants who propose to lease equipment must present a business case identifying the number of years the applicant intends to lease equipment and a comparison of lease costs with purchase. Funding from the Australian Government is to only cover the initial lease period stated in the business case. Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they will have the capacity to fund equipment leases after the expiry of the funding agreement.

2.2  Improved training and employment pathways

Describe how your proposed project will increase the capacity of your organisation to meet current and future training needs and provide employment pathways. Refer to Section 4.3.1 of the Guidelines for the requirements of this section.
2.3 Project implementation expertise
Describe your capacity and expertise to deliver the project outcomes on time and the presence of, or ability to acquire, the necessary experience and skills to implement the project. Refer to Section 4.3.2 of the Guidelines for the requirements of this section.

2.4 Project benefit realisation

Describe your capacity to provide ongoing program management and to ensure the delivery of the projects expected outcomes. Refer to Section 4.3.3 of the Guidelines for the requirements of this section.


2.5 Value for money

Describe how your proposed project provides value for money, not only in terms of the cost of the project, but also its quality, the timeframe in which it will be delivered, and considering the factors described in Section 4.3.4 of the Guidelines, across the life of the project.

2.6 Demonstrated need

Describe how the proposed project will meet local industry and community needs. Refer to Section 4.3.5 of the Guidelines for the requirements of this section.
