  • NOTIFY NASRO AND NRSF IMMEDIATELY IF I AM REASSIGNED TO A DIFFERENT SCHOOL, DEPARTMENT OR OUT OF THE SRO PROGRAM.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENT

1)Applicant must be a current sworn law enforcement officer;

2)Any member of the NASRO board, or any board affiliated with NASRO, is not eligible;

3)Application form must be fully completed and signed;

4)Applicant must provide two letters of reference (one must be from a supervisor or other individual knowledgeable with applicant’s qualifications);

5)The National Road Safety Foundation employees and affiliates are not eligible; and

RECEPIENT RECEIVES THE FOLLOWING:

1)2018 NASRO School Safety Conference Registration Fee ($500 value).

2)Airfare to and from conference location.

3)Lodging for conference.

4)$1000 payable to recipient’s school or police department.

5)NASRO New Membership for one year ($40 value). If currently a member, then the recipient’s membership will be renewed for one year.

6)One (1) NASRO Training Course to be taken prior to July 1, 2019. This course must be selected from the following list: Basic SRO, Advanced SRO, Supervisor/Management Course, CPTED Course or Adolescent Mental Health (AMH) Training for SRO’s. (Registration fee only – up to $445.00 value).

7)Recipient will be recognized by NRSF and NASRO at the 2018 NASRO School Safety Conference.
