Manchester Piccadillyrail station is a recommended venue station for spectators attending the Olympic Football events at Old Trafford Stadium. This station will be busy two to three hours before events begin and one to two hours after events finish. It may also be busy when the last trains leave at the end of the day.
This station is expected to be busy with spectatorsbetween:

- 9am-12noon and 5-7pm: Sunday 29 July
- 9am-12noon and 2-4pm: Saturday 4 August
- 2-5pm and 7-9pm: Tuesday 31 July and Wednesday 1 August
- 2-5pm and 10pm-midnight: Thursday 26 July

This station is expected to be busy with spectatorsbetween:

- 10am-1pm: Sunday 29 July - Thursday 2 August
- 6-8pm: Sunday 29 - Monday 30 July
- 4-6.30pm: Tuesday 31 July - Wednesday 1 August
- 5-7pm: Thursday 2 August

It is possible that short-term congestion management measures, including an additional exit / entrance to the venue, will be implemented to ensure the station does not become overcrowded.

TheOlympicand Paralympic Route Networkwill be in operationon roadstowards the LeeValley WhiteWater Centrebefore and during the Games, so there will be changes to the way these roads operate. These changes will include no parkingor stopping on the A121 from the M25 to the venue.

Local access and parkingmeasures will be in place around Games venues. This will helpto provide a safe and secure environment around the venues and help keep traffic movingfor local residents and businesses,so they cancarry on with their day-to-day activities.

Accessible shuttle buses will run from Cheshunt station to the venue, and park-and-ride buses will run to the venue from Hertfordshire and Essex, which will increase traffic around the venue before, and after, events.

As London 2012 is aiming for all spectators to travel to events by public transport, the transport arrangements for accessing Hadleigh Farm and areas around the venue will be different.

Public transport servicesmay be busy before the start and at the end of sessions.If you wish to avoid any disruption, the times to avoid travelling are 10.30am-12.30pm and 2.30-5.30pm.

Leigh-on-Searail station is a recommended venue station for spectators attending the Mountain Bike events at Hadleigh Farm. This station will be busy two to three hours before events begin and one to two hours after events finish. This station is expected to be busywith spectatorsbetween:

- 9.30am-12.30pm and 2.30-4.30pm: Saturday 11 August
- 10.30am-1.30pm and 3.30-5.30pm: Sunday 12 August

To handle the number of daily visitors anticipated during the Games, it is essential that roads, traffic and parking inLeigh-on-Sea and Hadleighare properly managed. So, road and parking restrictions will be introduced when events are taking place.

TheOlympicRoute Networkwill be in operationon roads inLeigh-on-Sea and Hadleighwhen events are taking place, so there will be temporary changes to the way some of these roads operate. The route to Hadleigh Farm will include London Road, Kiln Road and Chapel Lane
