The Business Enterprise Solutions section requires the Business Analyst for project work which may include:

  • Future grant administration projects including:
  • Streamlining Grants Administration Programme;
  • Aged Care Gateway Programme; and
  • Humanitarian Settlement Programme

Business Analysts work closely with business stakeholders to provide sound solutions to requirements

Duties include but not limited to:

  • liaison with technical and non-technical staff of all levels within DSS and from external agencies to determine business requirements;
  • negotiation of scope within technical and resourcing limitations;
  • preparation for and coordination of analysis and design workshops;
  • working closely with the Siebel developers to ensure designs are technically feasible;
  • development and documentation of functional detailed designs;
  • peer review other designers’ deliverables;
  • providing advice on the relative risks of project-related activities;
  • coordinating the implementation of solutions with downstream teams;
  • analysis and resolution of issues raised during development;
  • transfer of skills and knowledge to departmental officers
