- Outside the States of Washington and Oregon, public entities that are authorized to perform public transit operations may utilize the award of this contract in the fashion local regulation allows, provided, the use falls within the scope and the award of this contract. Such users make use of the support and benefit of this contract. All terms and conditions apply. This contract does not modify or supplant the territories assigned by vehicle manufacturers. Buyers in other states may contact their local dealer for the vehicles awarded. To utilize this contract the dealer must agree to comparable terms and conditions and agree to support the upkeep of the contract through the submittal of required reports and applicable Contract Administration fee .payments.
A dealer that fails to meet the provided prices, provide comparable service, and agree to these terms will not be authorized to access the contract. Out of state procurements using this contract as authorization, must be reported to the Washington Contract Administrator to track activity against the scope.
Benefits: Users may receive a support disk (CD) that contains all materials needed to document their
acquisition, This includes: Buy America, Fly America, the original solicitation documentation, the original bid documents etc. In addition, The State of Washington will maintain the original documents supporting this disk at the state’s archive in accordance with archive requirement s for this procurement.
Buyers wishing these benefits are asked to send the request to the Contract Administrator at The State of
Washington, upon acceptance by the Contractor of their Purchase Order. .
Contract Administration Fee: Although there is no cost to the buyer, the seller must remit the 1% Contract Administration fee established by the contract. For providers outside the State of Washington, payment of this fee is due thirty days after payment from the buyer is received. Sellers may not add this fee to the price charged to the seller in any fashion; doing so falls outside the terms of thiscontract.
